I don't get why Lin is getting zero run with Smith/T-Rob.
Why does Harden need to be out there 40+ minutes?
He's never in without Harden anymore.

Lin is honestly a better passer than Harden and has been money playing the pick and roll with Smith in the past. He is simply more effective with big men who can finish. Yet he's only getting run with D-Mo and Asik.

Just a "dud" game. Can't have many of those at home. Harden was cold as ice. So were several other players including DMo and Parsons. I liked the comeback, but they just got outplayed. Didn't have it. Shame, because it is not going to get easier. Got to bring you "A" game every game especially at home.

Smith has always impressed me; he is really coming around.

So can we all agree that we should bench harden and look to trade him for melo in the off season?

Is it just me or do i smell a losing streak coming? The remaining schedule isn't easy.

The Rockets had their chances to pull out a win tonight, despite the great D that Indiana played. The X-factor the Rockets could not overcome was Roy Hibbert's offense. Hibbert's been better offensively in March than he did in the first half of the season, but 28 points on 11-17 FG/6-8 FT shooting is still an exceptional night. Asik and Smith really didn't give him that many easy shots, he just made more of those hook shots than he usually does. Those are the breaks of the game-- some nights you play good D and Tim Duncan goes 7-18 and other nights you play a similar level D and Roy Hibbert goes 11-17.

If Hibbert had a more "normal" scoring night, the ball game could have turned out a bit differently. As it happened, HOU drew close, but could never overcome.

heh? first that's not true. First turnover was like 10-11 minutes left in the 1st and he came right back and hit a J to get the 2 back.

There were back to back turnovers 5 minutes later for 4 points, big whoop.

Harden is 2nd place in the NBA with TOs per game. Why, because he's aggressive and he has the ball in his hands alot of the times. When you're not aggressive, you're not taking risks which can lead to points and plays for your teammates.

They are in this situation because of the core starters playing well, so you go based on that stat. The core players have proven they can win thus far, why knee jerk?

In four quarters, the rockets were dominated by Roy Hibbert. Oh, and lance ****ing stepenson. What does your post even mean. Its the NBA, guards ( all guards turn the ball over. That's probably why Lin is averaging 2.9 a game and harden is averaging 3.7. Wtf

As of lately d-mo has been completely ineffective to the point where he doesn't do anything I feel way more comfortable when t-rob is in the game I'm sick and tired of d-no literally staying at the 3pt line I'm the biggest d-mo supporter I have been one of the people saying he will be a star in this league but I'm not so sure no more t-robs game right now overall is 10x better than d-mo and after tonight I'm not jinxing nothing but t-rob looks more and more comfortable watch out for your starting spot d-mo but t-rob already plays more minutes I think

Not quite, 2 TOs led to easy baskets.

McHale has repeatedly got on Lin about his TOs. When he plays like that his minutes will be cut.

Every young PG in the league goes through this. It's a learning process. He will grow from it (hopefully). Your starting PG cannot be turnover prone. He had that same problem last year during Linsanity. Not a good quality to have as a PG. I like the kid and hope he keeps getting better.
