ClutchFans Game Thread: Pacers @ Rockets 3/27/2013

A few positive out of this game. The bench now seems to be solidifying. Getting good production from TRob, Smith and Beverly. Our defence is also improving. Our offense on the other hand We just need the starters to snap out of this little slump especially from Lin. Lin's confidence is almost as bad as it was during the month of November. I saw little sparks of his confidence coming back tonight, but as soon as he made a mistake tho, he was on the bench. Same goes for Asik. Parson's 3's has become also come a little bit inconsistant as of late.

 

I AM b****ING BECAUSE WHO THE HELL PLAYS A PLAYER THE ENTIRE GAME!!!! Oh, you are a Mchale b****, aren't you?:grin:

 

so can we all agree that harden should get benched for the next game?

 

McHale did well in rotation in the second quarter, and it is a plausible decision at that time to bench Lin. He, however, did not put Lin back to court until being the verge of the match's end.

 

Rox lost to a better team that was missing 2 key players. Pacers shut us down completely

 

Superstars aren't held to the same standards as role players.

 

You know, in a rockets forum you'd expect people to be talking about the game and actually providing useful information, but instead all we have is a bunch of people bit**ing at each other. This is getting really pathetic.

 

People are so stupid. It's not Lin vs Harden.

heh? THat's like saying you're losing 3-0 after the 1st period in hockey and if the game game ends 4-1, you have nothing to complain about because you played them even. MAkes no sense.

 

Speaking up for oneself when not getting the # of minutes one desires sure works in the NBA! Look at all these minutes that Royce White is getting! Look at all those minutes Marcus Morris got last season!

 

What's been going on with the poor shooting games lately? Is the team just getting tired toward the end of the season?

 

You are not Jeremy Lin, and Jeremy Lin is not you. Lin's success or failure is not a reflection of you.

 

Lin just needs to adopt the mentality that he's going to get benched whether he plays well or not and just play his agressive style of ball. Don't play with fear of being benched. Accept it and just play the best that you can.

 

Yes, I agree, if only can Lin play some minutes in the second half with Bev, Trob and Smith. The game result might have changed. Its like Mcfail doesn't want Lin to shine without Harden.

 

^This, Lin didn't do great, but he wasn't bad either. Also, does everyone not see how atrocious George Hill was? 0 pts 1/11 shooting and 5 assists on 38 mins. If anything, our PG position gave the best D today as well.
