The Bulls just beat a healthy Heat team that was playing for something (the streak) so it was more than just a regular game...and the Bulls beat them without 2 of their best players in Rose and Noah.

Do you guys think the Bulls can beat the Heat in the playoffs, assuming Rose comes back healthy? Because they will more than likely see each other in the second round.

I just don't see it to be honest. A healthy Rose couldn't beat the Heat in the playoffs 2 years ago, so I don't see how this current Bulls team will be able to beat the Heat when they haven't improved as much as the Heat.

1 Game a playoff does not make.

The Heat will have a lot more incentive to win in the playoffs than they did today (sure, a record is nice, but it's no championship). Bulls wouldn't stand a chance in a series.

Yes. But I wouldn't bet a cent against the Heat this year.

Rose has got to be happy seeing this effort from his team.

    One game? Absolutely.

    Two games? Ehh...maybe.

    Three games? Naw.

it wasn't a knee jerk, if you read the OP, you would know that I think that the Bulls can't beat the Heat in a playoff series.

Knee-Jerk. The streak had to end at one point. It just so happened to be against the Bulls.

no, and regarding the bolded part -- i don't think it's that likely. the Bulls are 4-6 in their last 10 games. they probably aren't going to be in the 4-5 bracket. And if they managed to get there and face Brooklyn -- Brooklyn is clicking. D-Will is playing pretty well. they are going to need Rose --- but realistically they aren't going to be the Bulls from 2 years ago right away.

If they kidnap Lebron, and food poison Wade, then yeah they might steal a game or 2..lol

Can Swishh really stop creating dumb knee jerk threads instead of just posting in the game thread?

I doubt it. I don't think they have the pieces offensively. Can they play them tough? No doubt. The Celtics and Bulls always seem to play the Heat tough regardless of who's on the floor. The playoffs are a different animal though. I'd say Heat in 5 assuming both teams are healthy.

How come this 13'er can make threads while I have been on this board for more than 5 years and I can't? Granted I made a thread about LJ sigining with the Knicks back when he was FA as a joke but come on...

Lmfao. Remember what happened last time? Heat won in 5. Regular season games don't matter much. I predict Heat in 5 or 6 tops even with a fully healthy Bulls roster. They have no chance.

Bad comparison. Heat won in 5, but all of those games were close side from game 1 IIRC. That series wasn't one sided.

The Celtics and the Bulls always play the Heat tough because of their style of play on defense and rebounding. They both match up really well.

You are aware that the Bulls are 7-3 v. the Heat in the regular season since LBJ came right?

Bulls can beat the Heat in the regular season. But we know what happens in the playoffs. The Bulls cannot score, even with Rose.

This. Even with Noah, no. Rose would actually hurt them at this point, without time to reintegrate.

That was a piss poor Heat game. I think they were pretty sick of the streak.
