I wish we had a real coach like Frank Vogel or whatever his name is.

I don't get how Delfino is allowed to brick, turn the ball over when he plays outside of his role by trying to beat his defender one-on-one, and gets torched on defense. I just don't get it. Why not give Anderson a chance. If nothing else it will provide some competition for Delfino and maybe make him make better decisions.

Trob played just as well against Hansborough as he did pendergrass. He was playing well out there, not sure why McHale decided to yank him and we got it back to 5 points then and McHale goes back to his comfort of playing small.

This is stupid, how can you decide a game in the first quarter for a 11 points diff?

Yes Lin caused Harden to go 6/24 FGM and 3/10 3PM and Lin caused Parsons to go 5/14 FGM and 0/3 3PM

Really. Iso ball till the end?? Really??? We may not have won if Lin played more as the Pacers looked really solid tonight, but McHale just killed Lin's joy for the game. I could see it. McHale murdered Lin and his future and took any confidence he had away from him systematically and thoroughly. You do bad, ill pull you. You do good, ill pull you.

Stop the farce and start Bev. Get it over with. Please.

Letting Harden have carte blanche is just stupid. Even superstars need some accountability. 40+ minutes on a night he shoots 6-24. But Lin gets 2 back-to-back TOs he's benched for 1.5 quarters.

How about some fair play and consistency. Obviously Harden should have the longest leash, but the should have a leash.

Lin was doing well in the 3rd qtr, McHale still went for Beverley but played him too long.

Yeah, pretty much. You're best player shot horribly, you let a scrub play like an all star and Hibbert ****ing dominated. Its exactly why. Wasn't turnovers. Wasn't rebounding ( we had 15 ****ing offensive boards ). Wasn't lack of free throws Aside from those two players, they shot poorly. Lance Stevenson shouldn't put up 21 on anyone. Shot 6-21 from three ( harden took ****ing 10 ).

George and hills stats don't mean ****, they won without them.

Yeah with Smith and Trob inside, it looks like the Rockets were the bullies rather than the ones being bullied. Delfino needed to be yanked after doing those one vs one Kobe moves.

Eh, look at Harden and the Thunder against the Spurs last year. They got plenty of whistles. It's not just a "let everything go" mindset once the playoffs start.

The Pacers are basically the modern version of the 1990s Knicks, in that their reputation precedes them, the officials know "how they play", and they're allowed this bull**** accordingly. The bottom line is that it's fairly impressive the Rockets could stay within single digits of Indiana with that level of physicality. If you're allowed to reach, grab, and bump Harden on all of his drives without fear of fouls, it's going to be tough for us to win no matter what happens.

The good news is that the Pacers are in the East, and other than maybe Memphis, there's not another potential matchup like that in the West.

Teams come back after being down 13 in the first quarter all the time. It's not unusual at all.

Lin definitely helped Indiana build the lead with his turnovers but Asik and DMo contributed to that lead also. None of the starters played well to start the game. At least be fair about it.
