Greg Smith and TRob came in and settled things down. Well it took TRob a couple of minutes. Hansbrough stole his lunch early, but then TRob stole it back.

Asik had a tough time with Hibbert. Harden also started passing it a lot once he realized the whole defense was focused on taking him out. He seems tom have a lot more faith in Smith and TRob down low than he does in DMo and Asik.

 

and Dmo only starts cos he's white?

Beverley and Robinson are only good because their black?

GTFO.

 

How the hell can some be a LOH and a Harden hater at the same damn time?

I know, man. Have you seen how big he got compare to how he looked when he first came to Houston? He got f***ing huge.

 

There is no way a top 10 PG would want to come to this system where Harden is the primary ballhandler, their stats would suck and would make them look like a lesser player. Except if it's Chris Paul, who would be given the keys over James Harden.

To add to the prior reply, I thought Harden did a poor job by complaining to the ref, after what I thought was a clear foul that resulted in his airball. But by doing what he did, he gave up two points.

 

I mean lets get real guys. How often will GREG SMITH be our leading scorer in a half with a double double? Point is, players will have off nights (lin, dmo, harden, asik, etc) and that gives bench players motivation/opportunity to perform. ONE GAME does not make SMITH, Beverly or TROB superstars and automatic starters. You guys will all be calling for their heads the next game when they screw up. Just relax, cheer for the rockets, and hope the starters play better the second half. whatever. I don't care anymore.

 

During the halftime warmup, Lin was missing so many 3's. That's with no defender on him. :/

 

Stop being so self righteous all the time, it's corny. Lin didn't get a chance to redeem himself.

Agreed. With this system you don't really need a great/elite PG but someone who can shoot well from the arc. Curry would be the ideal fit for this team. I expect McHale and Samspon to push hard over the summer.
