I think Indy did a good job breaking down Houston’s strengths and weaknesses in the 1st quarter. They rushed both Harden & Lin and prevented them from driving or pushing the ball and creating for others.

Coaching made good adjustments by keeping Smith, TRob and Beverley in, instead of Asik, DMo and Lin, and using Harden as PG. I don’t think Pacers were prepared for these three, and they are much fresher and more energetic right now than Asik, DMo, and Lin.

 

we were down by 19...down by 9...and we should have went back to the starters?

 

when bevereley's shot goes flat for a couple of games the same morans that wanted lin out will be wanting beverely out. it's the way it goes. The thing for lin is he should know he is on a short leash, so he should attack early and often.

 

Love how Lin fans always go back to this. Harden has a lower TO rate and percentage than Lin. He has the ball soo much more than Lin. You would think Lin fans would have this basic understanding, but they don't.

Maybe a message to the starters. Earn your minutes.

 

I don't have a problem with benching Lin, Asik, and D-Mo but McHale rode the bench for a really long time. I don't see him play the starters that long and I have to worry about the bench being gassed in the 2nd

I don't think there's been a game that Lin's gotten 17 straight minutes

 

The bench players are really carrying us. Glad they got a chance to show what the can do. Go Rockets!

he played like crap last time against the Pacers as well,,, seems like George is doing a pretty good job defensively on Harden.

 

Great 1st half by Robinson.

Bev, Rob, and Smith are our gritty guys. Pacers want to play physical, those players match up a lot better than soft ass Lin and Motie. Asik just having a bad night, but Greg "5 fouls in 5 minutes" Smith still benefits on nights like this since they aren't calling anything.

 

Harden is shooting 41% this month and is 1-10 to start tonight.

That's simply not good enough despite the homers protests. The #1 option on the team can't be shooting at the JR Smith clip.

 

He's trying to win this game. But let's see how the starters are doing in the second half.

 

Dmo is trash personified.
