So I live in a condo and I own a dog. Every single day when I walk my dog she likes to be very playful and just sniff around or run around on the edge of people's lawns and etc.

Anyways I was walking my dog this morning and I was actually on my way back to my condo. Directly across the street is this house that we walk by every day. She never pees or poops in their lawn (and even if she ever did I always carry a doggiebag to pick up after her).

As I am walking towards my condo, my neighbor walks out of his house (never met/seen him before) and starts to yell and scream at me for no reason. Yells at me to get my dog off his ****ing property, how he knows where I live, he actually described my car to me in detail and told me he is going to destroy my car and put crap all over my car, and starts accusing my dog as being responsible for a pile of dog poop in his lawn.

    1. I calmly point out to him that I always carry a bag with me at all times.
    2. That just because something is on his lawn he has no right to blame my dog for something without proof.
    3. I calmly told him he is a horrible miserable person, and that there is no need to blame his miserable life on other people.

He gets in his car and just drives off. So now I need some advice as to what to do so that I feel justice is served.

    A. I looked up his street address and matched it with public property/tax records.
    B. I found his name and after some research it seem he is a family doctor with a local practice and also works at a local hospital.
    C. I have some basic information about him (address, phone number, blogs, review websites, office #, hospital #)

    What should I do?

TLDR: Miserable neighbor in his 50s went crazy on me in regards to dog dropping in his yard (not from my dog), he identified my vehicle and told me he is going to destroy my car and vandalize my car. I have his personal information and many online resources to him. What should I do to enact revenge?

There's a scene in Billy Madison that I think fits your plan. Check it out.

To follow up on this. After he threatened me I called the police and 2 officers showed up. I described to the situation to them and told them that I felt my vehicle was in imminent danger. And what if I work up the next morning and my car was destroyed and vandalized?

They basically told me old people are douches and that there is nothing really they can do until my vehicle has already been destroyed or vandalized, only after that can they look into the incident. They went to his house to talk to him or anyone else that was there, but obviously no one was home since he just left.

Police are of no help. Need advice.

    Wait, what?

You want to get revenge over an accusation? I was expecting a story about how he damaged your property or poisoned your dog, but an accusation? Just let it go, have thicker skin.

EDIT- You called the cops? I'm beginning to question if this is even a serious thread. Cops have better things to do than to respond to something like this..

    This.

First, make a complaint to the police that he threatened to vandalize your car. That way they have it on record.

Then let your dog poop in his yard every single day.

If/When he vandalizes your car, call the police, file a complaint, then sue him for property and punitive damages.

EDIT: I didn't realize you already talked to the police, however it doesn't appear you made a formal complaint. Tell the police to make a formal complaint so it is in their system.

File a police report. That way, if the guy DOES do something to your car, you can have it on record beforehand.

    Justice definitely served.

Probably should go ahead and tell him you filed the report as well, just so he knows beforehand that he better keep his damn hands off you and your car. Probably ought to reiterate to him again that whomever's dog crapped in his yard, it wasn't yours, ad that he should probably have some actual evidence, such as photo or video, before he screams and makes illegal threats to people in the future.

This of course assumes you yourself are telling the truth that it was not your dog. I assume you are truthful, so those steps ought to put it all to rest for you.

Didn't you already deal with the guy?

What exactly are you getting revenge for? To prove you can be just as big a douche as he is being?

    Let it go.
