LOL!!!!!! Why such an extreme? Is it that difficult for you to just start drinking water like a normal person? If you miraculously make it thru your 30 day fast, I imagine you will go back to your original bad habits very soon afterwards and end up right where you started, if not worse. Sounds like you need a lifestyle change, not some extreme short-term 'solution'. I think this is a terrible idea, but to each his own, and I wish you the best of luck if you end up trying it. Keep us posted if you do.
I like how you said two main reasons and then had three points. And what does "release the impurities" even mean?
I've done it before.* It's really not that bad once you get used to it. Good luck. *I did it for approximately 3 hours.
Did a one week water fast once. It was pretty cool honestly, but you have no energy whatsoever. All I did was lay in bed most of the time. So good luck with that.
i did a 10 day water fast 3 years ago, following the advice in this book. the physical detox is real - after 3 or 4 days, your body starts expelling waste from every pore, your tongue, it's actually kind of fascinating. your digestive system gets to rest so your body is able to accelerate healing in other places. and you really have to be careful when you break the fast, you have to ease back into food v-e-r-y slowly. i probably wouldn't do it again but it was definitely the kickoff to a healthier lifestyle for me, i lost 24 pounds in 10 days and have been maintaining a 65 pound total weight loss since. it's not easy and it's not for everyone, but i'm definitely happy i did the fast.
