Texas debuted the return of the up tempo offense that brought them to 2 national championship games and 4 seasons in which they lost a combined 3 games. Ash and McCoy looked ok. Swoops showed a lot of promise. Great to see hicks back in action. As the Texans can attest to, losing your inside LB and opening up the middle can kill the offense. No word on jeffcoat. another offseason, more arrests from UT-Austin branch it's comical how little control they have over the football team just the past few months: accusations of rape, aggravated assault (Cayleb Jones sucker punching another UT-Austin branch athlete), and now DWI... shameful
I'm a big fan of the skill players for Texas on the offensive side of the ball (Gray,Brown,Bergeron, Shipley, Davis). It's a shame to see some of these kids who could help such as Jones and Sanders being complete idiots. It's also a shame that the offensive line and QB are not good enough to make this offense elite. When it comes to the defense........I have no clue. They have talent, but Diaz doesn't seem to be the greatest teacher and motivator.
Right now I really wish I could change my nic. I loathe this current regime and Dodds needs to be flushed out quickly since he keeps allowing this country club atmosphere to continue.
