Where is Suarez rumoured to be going to next season?

I actually missed United/Liverpool rivalry back when Rafa was their manager, but now it's just lacking that fire... Rogers is doing a good job so hope they don't sack him prematurely.

Man rumors are a plenty. I think the strongest one is Bayern. If he does move, I would like for him to go to Bayern under Pep's guidance. They'll have a fantastic system for him to thrive in and better players around to complement his oh-haii-im-all-over-the-field play. Other teams are PSG, Real Madrid, and City. However if Suarez switches to City, then truly he would be an idiot and deserves to fail. Don't think that will happen though.

I question Rodger's player selection often and his idiotic ways of criticizing players through the media. However I do hope he isn't sacked prematurely either. Don't think that will be the case though since John Henry has reiterated that he'd give Rodgers a few years to fully implement his system.

    ....

On another note, man how exciting would it be to see Arsenal miss out on CL? I think they're banking on continuous CL every year to keep their profits afloat. It would be interesting how missing it would affect their transfer policy and Wenger's job security.

I love that era, and also the rivalry between Rafa & Mourinho (and I'm a Mourinho fan btw) ,you are right.

I really hope we gone back one day.

Btw Jontro do u think Henry is too patient? Or I swear I'm turning into Abramovich :p

Bayern 9:2 vs. Hamburg, insane. Last weeks had me worried but we're back on track and I'm more optimistic about facing Juve on Tuesday.

I think he's pretty patient, as long as the club doesn't fall into oblivion and still profits. He's a business man first, which sadly also means he will not fork out cash like some of the oil sheikhs or Abramovich. I also don't think he knows much about football. I think his American teams are his first love and LFC is just an additional business venture for him. Could be worse though... he could be Mike Ashley.

    Cray... playstation mode is playstation.

Think of how much fun Suarez would have scoring 5 a game for Bayern if he moves there. Also what is the EPL equivalent of Hamburg? Are they like a perennial mid table team like Everton or West Brom?

Watching the Chelsea v MU FA cup tie right now and the camera man spent a good 5-7 seconds on 2 heavily bearded South Asian men in the crowd. The commentators didn't even want to get close to commentating on that LOL.

Difficult to say, they had the talent to be top 5 for years but sold many good players and the new manager Arnesen brought a bunch of youngsters from Chelsea's youth with him, hoping they'd develop. These guys are playing like complete sh.. though which leads to huge problems on defense. The club has no money to significantly strengthen the squad and future doesn't look really bright imo, stuck in the middle.

The thing is you never know how they'll play on game day, beat Dortmund 4:1 a few weeks ago and now this.

Agreed with everything else but not sure why Mike Ashley's name was brought up? He had a rough start as the Magpies owner but he's become a decent owner. There are tons more terrible owners/chairmen to mention.

    David Gold/Sullivan
    Ken Bates
    Peter Ridsdale
    Alan Sugar

And even your ex owners- The magic that was Gillett/Hicks.

While I don't have delusions of City chasing down United after yesterday's 2-1 victory in Old Trafford, it is good to see City win on the road after losing to United at the Etihad. Big win however, in keeping the distance between themesleves and the teams directly beneath them. City was much closer to falling out of the top 4 then they are to catching United so yesterday's 3 points were huge because they had to earn those 3 against a better team on the road.

With the win I would expect City to finish the season strong and maintain their hold on
    2nd in the Premire League.

Well that's true. Hicks and Gillett deserve to get violently bent by an 18 wheeler. I think they're comparable to the Clippers' Sterling. I don't disagree with your list there, but I still dislike Mike Ashley. I think if anything, he's lucky to have Pardew keeping his club somewhat relevant.

Well feck... turns out John Henry has been going to Arsenal and ManU to get tips on how to run Liverpool. Great... good days are to come

On the other hand, one can say that it's good that Henry is taking this seriously and wants to be a better owner.

But then you think... holy **** he's asking two groups that have turned their respective clubs into a business. More on profit making and less on improvements for the pitch.

So now we have an owner who only wants to profit, knows nothing about the sport, AND with practically no money to invest on players.

Buckle up fellow Pool fans... we're going in for a long ride in mediocrity.

YNWA (except for you Henry... you can walk by yourself)

Wow, Bayern just absolutely destroying anyone in their way. 13 Bundesliga wins in a row, 45-7 goals in those 13 games... Barca better watch out.

Son of a b**** City got butt****ed for 7 minutes. Forget Cavani they need competant center halves. Not filthy wank spokes.

Damn what in the ****ing hell was Suarez thinking getting a taste of Ivanovic's arm? I guess Sturridge will have to tighten up his cleats because he'll be the lone striker for the rest of the season.

Sad because he's an incredibly talented player... just makes very bad decisions on the pitch.
