I agree. I think it sucks that women didn't consider the feelings of men who didn't want them to get the right to vote too. And black people should have considered the feelings of racists when fighting for the right to be treated equally and fairly. Bullied people should consider the feelings of the bullies that would no longer have anyone to bully if things change too.
The government should not ever have enough control to outlaw such things, but if they were to come out and try to base their laws on that of the New Testament, than I would be ok with that..... btw I'm already married....lol
This is the other part of the post you were responding to: Listening to CSPAN this morning, more than half of the callers against gay marriage claimed it was against god or against the definition of marriage. You were responding to a post that was talking about whether gay marriage should be *allowed* and people arguing that it shouldn't be based on religion. That goes to law, not personal feelings. I doubt many really care if someone is personally for or against it as long as they don't try to make it illegal for someone else to do it.
http://curiosity.discovery.com/question/why-clownfish-changes-sex essentially, in the real story of Finding Nemo, Nemo's dad would turn into a woman, and then Nemo would grow up to become his/her mate. try to refer to "natural law" with a straight face again.
Yikes. I was fine with the first part cause that's most conservative religious people's view. Then you added that second part there about how you could be okay with outlawing premarital sex, adultery and divorce. People like you scare me.
As for your other question, who knows. if you have a very small population, threatened with extinction, you cannot afford to have *any* gay members. Everyone needs to procreate to keep the species alive. If you have incredible over-population (ahem, looking at humanity) you could easily have, I dunno, 8% and do just fine.
I dunno how to take this answer because . . . Gays would be considered its own category A category of humanity incapable of replicating itself without a member of a different category. incapable is a too strong a word . . . predisposed to not replicating Rocket River
it's not compelling to cite women's suffrage or race relations. Changing the topic is a sure sign of limited evidence. It's what Northside Storm tries all the time
If you like having another mans penis stuffed into your butt hole that's your decision. Don't try to have me accept it as okay.
I am going to point out that being gay doesn't rule out procreation. Humans along with many other creatures engage in sex of reasons besides procreation. I have no statistics but I guess that the vast vast majority of human sex has nothing to do with procreation.
Yes that's because I don't want to divorce my wife, I've never committed adultery, and I by the nature of the definition can't have any more "pre-marital sex". ^^^This is the main reason it wouldn't bother me....but as was said only a few posts earlier (please read before replying) I stated that the government whether conservative or liberal, should never have enough power to outlaw those things.
Fascination duly noted. You just need to paint in some more details to really underline your interest. Maybe some pubes and beads of sweat? I don't know. I don't really ever think about it like some of y'all do.
Fair enough. Lets all protect that militant GLBT community. The ends justify the means as long as the "right" people aren't hurt. Who gives a ***** about old folks who just want to attend church right?
You don't. You don't have to approve or like gay sex to think that gay marriage should be allowed. That said I find it interesting that you are thinking about stuffing a man's penis in you butt in regard to this subject.
The Bible offers guidance on a great deal of modern life that is counter to your everyday existence. Yet you do not see people at the bully pulpit working to pass the following verses into law: 1 Corinthians 11:14 1 Corinthians 14:34 Deuteronomy 22:5 1 Corinthians 6:1 NIV 1 Timothy 2:9 RSV AND 1 Peter 3:3 Matthew 23:9 Matthew 6:25-34 & Luke 12:22-31 Leviticus 27:30-32 Deuteronomy 23: 19-20 Deuteronomy 14:8 Deuteronomy 25:5-6 Deuteronomy 22:28-29 Luke 16:17 & Matthew 5:18-19 The Bible as a guide for moral living does condemn homosexuality, but it condemns almost everything. From mortgages to women's rights. Yet in the end, Jesus' message was one of forgiveness. Even homosexuality is a forgivable sin. And Matthew 7:1.
So you're saying the only thing that separates your beliefs from those who like the Taliban... is the choice of text. That's a very extreme position.
