If we won in 6, it would be Mcfail's fault for benching Lin in game 3 so that we didn't win in 5.

It's a great win. No doubt. But the Lin hating/doubting is just too much. Bev played great, Lin did not. Lin is inconsistent. Hardens our best player. Lin is not an all star. McGake doesnt hate Lin. I get it. I agree. Now, is it okay to support and wish the best for our starting pg without being called names. Rockets wins come first, we shouldn't tear down other players to somehow lift up Lin, etc etc. I agree. I agree. I agree.
So lets just enjoy our win and please stop saying that Lin is a scrub or that he's not better than TD or Bev cuz as great as they've been, it's not true. Please.

Thanks for posting. I still don't understand why he shows free throws for Lin....

Love the highlights...although what happened to the Beverley block and parson subsequent three around 1 min. Mark in the forth? Wasn't that this game?

"Glue guy" = popular player we don't want to trade for a better player.

Lets not pretend its anything else. Parsons is a solid player but an upgrade at the 3 would be huge for the style of play we employ. A 3 who can finish more consistently at the rim would be great. Or a more consistent 3 point shooter. Or a great defender who's long and athletic.

That being said, hard to argue with his value considering his contract.

honestly i dont know why FT's are not considered highlights? If you dont put them in people will think that the player hasnt contributed... put them in...

    Jeremy,

Stop letting others pat your head. I know Harden was being friendly but that is bad luck. In Chinese, patting someone's head or even shoulder in a competitive environment, is a gesture that you want that person to become inferior than you.

If someone does that, pat his head back.

I was referring to the film clip that Jeremy helped Harden up from the floor and Harden pat his head in return.

Article by Kelly Dwyer about Harden's game winner, and Rockets' exciting play and chances in the playoffs. Also a very cool NBA video at end about the Rockets. Fun!

    http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-b...inner-against-san-antonio-135019900--nba.html

"In a month, we’ve gone from wondering if the Rockets would end up being the playoff casualty once the Los Angeles Lakers got their act together (though we insisted the Rockets would stay in the playoff bracket), to watching them dive to just a half game in back of the Golden State Warriors for the sixth seed in the West. On top of that, the team leads the NBA in possessions per game, a very entertaining pace, and still has plenty of assets and cap room to look forward to this offseason.

The team has won three straight and seven of 10, and though Harden’s shooting percentages dipped a bit after his white-hot February (when he averaged nearly 29 points per game on a ridiculous 53 percent shooting mark, with 41 percent of his three-point makes going in) Lin has picked up the slack. Though he struggled on Sunday, Lin has made half his shots in March, contributing 14.7 points and 5.5 assists per game.

As it stands, the Rockets would be set to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round, or the Denver Nuggets should they pass Golden State for the sixth seed. Those would be two ridiculously entertaining series, full of the new playoff blood that seems to be everywhere out West."

Not such a big deal here though. Look at it as a term of endearment.

I know it's been said a lot already but backup PG getting more minutes than the starter just makes it seem like being a starter is meaningless. Mchale needs to put more trust in Lin. Beverly played great, and Lin missed a lot, but who knows if Lin woulda been able to get hot if Mchale didnt yank him out.

Lin should just be traded to a team that values him more, and someone with better shooting should take his spot as a starter PG here in Houston. Someone like Curry would be an amazing fit to the Houston offense style since PG is almost a SG here. Harden is also a great penetrator so maybe Lin could be used for a team that needs a penetrating guard.

He also does this for other players he does highlights for as well (Stephen Curry, David Lee, Tyler Zeller, etc.)
