I read that it makes A Human Centipede seem like a disney film. Some of the things that happen in this movie are the worst things you could possibly think of. My friend told me to watch it if I want to feel hollow inside for the next week.
Yeah, I saw a bootleg of it late last year. It has a disturbing plot (such as it is) and there's one much-mentioned scene that really pushes the boundaries of taste beyond anything I've ever seen. However, the film has a very "fake" feel to it (especially the infamous scene in question) that prevented me from being truly grossed out or emotionally effected in any way.
It wasn't too bad, just dont go into it if you can't handle seeing snuff-like scenes and p*rnography. Decent plot though, I guess.

Saw it on bootleg as well. Didn't have a clue what it was about, just saw on the internet that it was "one of the most disturbing movies you could imagine", and so I figured I'd try it out and see what it was all about... Needless to say...it was probably the most disturbing movie I've ever seen, but mainly due to one scene that is just wrong. If you want to Wikipedia the plot, you'll definitely recognize the scene I'm talking about. Definitely a movie that has no goal other than to shock you with how far it goes. Not really anything interesting outside of that. Pretty much comparable to the Hostel franchise or the Saw movies after Saw 1 and 2.
the tags on this thread made me guffaw.:grin: been wanting to see this. anybody seen "Martyrs"? very disturbing, but also kind of good. i recommend not reading anything about it if you've never seen it. talk about twists that you don't see coming...
Martyrs is great. That's the definition of a movie that's extreme with the violence but actually a really good movie with a good plot. Serbian film isn't like that at all. If you liked Martyrs, I would recommend you check out Inside or High Tension.
saw it in HD with subtitles. Very disturbing. Just makes you feel dirty while you're watching it. Things that I have put into my shame basement along with my entire middle school experience. It's worth a watch though
Sure thing! It's a good one. And yeah I agree, High Tension wasn't great, but I thought it was fun and a good watch. Definitely not on Inside or Martyrs level in my opinion though.

Well then... I guess you Googled it already, but I guess I'll go ahead and say the parts that were most messed up for me. And this stuff is just brutal... To anybody who's squeamish...you've been warned... Spoiler I'll just get it out of the way now...the hands down worst part is when a woman gives birth to a baby, and the baby is raped Spoiler Woman is raped. Then the man raping the woman goes and cuts her head off, and then continues to rape her Spoiler Dude basically has sex with another dude's empty eye socket Spoiler Dude rapes his child while his brother is raping his wife There's plenty more, and if you care enough to find out then, hey, feel free to Wikipedia it. This is the only movie I can remember that really messed with my head, mainly because it just makes you feel so bad watching it. If there was ever a thing as an evil movie...this would be it.
nevermind. ****. ****. ****. I can't believe I even kind of watched this. I skipped around because I couldn't watch some of the things and right when I knew where things were headed towards the end I turned it off. Googled it after to see if I was right and I was. The thought of it is just so utterly disturbing. (Yes I am talking about his son). I have seen many things on the internet that I probably wish I hadn't seen and were down right gory or disgusting. But this is the one thing I wish I REALLY could just erase from my mind. There is no excuse for producing such a lousy disturbing piece of crap like that.
If only you had posted this a bit earlier before I found out that the movie was free on youtube and decided to just watch it. Excuse me while I go look at brain bleach for a couple of hours. That probably won't even do anything.
Trust me dude...once you've seen it, it's really just impossible to forget. I saw it 2 summers ago in 2011, and some of the scenes are just ingrained in my head. I'd like to say that I've seen quite a few disturbing movies that really weren't all that disturbing in the end, but this is the singular one that I just can't shake. The things shown, ACTUALLY SHOWN, in this movie are just beyond brutal. The question I always ask myself is just how in the world can somebody read the script for this movie, see what this movie is trying to accomplish, and then ACTUALLY want to be in it? Not to mention the actual writers being able to justify making this movie. It's just beyond me.
So I've read the wiki page and now I have no desire to see this movie at all. Definitely disturbing. For those that have seen this and ichi the killer, which one was worse (that said, I thought Ichi the Killer was really stylish).
I haven't seen it but from the descriptions it sounds like A Serbian Film is much worse. I've heard of this film based on reputation but have no desire to watch it, like the Human Centipede movies, there are certain images I don't want stuck in my head...
