Also, lets not pretend Lin plays great defense when he never did. I'll give him props that he a better team defender but not on the ball defender. That's just his deficiency and people need to stop glossing over that fact.
Sorry, I'm a Rockets fan. I just think the team will do better with Lin as the starting PG. But you would rather he get hurt and experiment with Bev. It's a difference of opinion, that's it.
there is nothing should or not should. it happened only in 4th qt. i believe mchale felt tony was too fast for lin to handle so he thought bev's speed may help. of coz, you know the result. mchale had no other choice but put a lengthy player on tony. somehow it works. like i said before, switch may work or just coz tony needed a break after attacking and attacking during first "10 minutes" of the 4th qt (i didn't check when tony was subed in during 4th qt and i may be wrong about minutes he played in 4th qt.)
I agree with Quick. Lin fans think Lin is as good as Jordan. Most Lin fans think he's better than Harden or even Lebron. That's why I hate them so much. I swear, if Lin doesn't play 48 minutes, people go crazy I swear. What's so bad about not playing at the end of the game??
Agreed. We should being Lin. Anybody's better than Lin. I'm just tellin you like I see it. Unfair and unbiased. Bev should start. Lin should sit or go.

I criticize "LOFs" because they seem to put the player over the team. I HATE that. So I'm very passionate when it comes to it. As for "LOH" (I hate both terms ), those dumb asses aren't even worth the time. Most are trolls so I don't even know why you guys bother. I don't care to pick sides between Lin or Bev. I do care when certain fans put one guy over the team. I do care when instead of enjoying a big win, certain fans rather discuss Player A vs Player B and bring negativity in a rather positive win.

that is correct, McHale didn't switch parsons on TP til the end, which like you said, shut him down for the final stretch. Perhaps the problem started in the first place (TP burning lin and bev) because Pop saw an undersized Delfino playing post D knowing that there's no big to contest any TP drives? I know there are small-ball haters/lovers on this site and I know some guys have run the numbers as to it's effectiveness, but i just can't believe it took the spurs all season to figure that TP had Lin's number.
Did I miss the part where that was a chase down or game saving? I'm pretty sure we lost that game to the Kings actually.
Our players aren't making a big deal over who's starting so I don't see why we should. Besides, if Lin's ego is so fragile that he loses confidence every once in a while his backup outplays him, he has no business playing in the NBA in the first place. Hell, Lin even said in his interview that he struggled on both ends, and gave credits to Beverley for playing an outstanding game. Why can't his fans do the same too? Until Lin started to become more consistent, Beverley will always have a chance to prove himself because in McHale's eyes, Lin is still a rookie that has yet to proved he has found his spot.
The worst of all is when Lin doesn't play in the 4th quarter, they start rooting for the opposing team to win. They should create a one man team featuring Lin. Lin can play 1 on 5. He should be coach and player all by himself so there's no BS from these so called fans.

I don't even think Lin has ever touched even the 2nd unit. Mchale is not that good believe me its just due for the rockets to win for the season series against the spurs . Big doh doesnt anyone think and they only won by 1 point
Yeah, it's the Lin fans stirring chit up again. Noone even mentioned anything about starting Bev or how lin sucks or anything. They just all of a sudden started saying how Harden sucks and how they hoped the Rockets would lose. They're ridiculous and you know most Lin supporters are LOFs and don't like the Rockets. Besides they're all Asains. I wish Lin gets injured or traded soon.
