Lol you are ridiculous! 11pts on 4/5 shooting, 2 ast and a HUGE game saving block while coming off the bench is not bad at all. If Lin had that line and we WON, fans, real fans and not trolls, would be happy. Geez we freaking won. Why do you have to discredit Bev to prop up Lin? I don't get that? Then again, you guys would rather have Lin get 25pts and lose, then for Lin to get 5 pts, 3 ast and WIN. Luckily, Lin is a team player, unlike many of his delusional fans.
lol...so beverly is going to be the guy....sure...wait, how many games did beverly go without scoring? 4 or 5? and while that was happening Lin was scoring 20 plus a game? and Lins going to get traded, and beverly is going to start.....really?
NO hes not rediculous....what he is saying is FACT. Its a fact that Bev went games without scoring. These are facts and while he was NOT scoring Lin was scoring...at an allstar level...Lin had a bad game....not horrible but non impacting I think. Beverly on the other hand had a good game where he did have an impact. Lets keep this thread and these posts so we can compare them to what you all say when Bev has a bad game which I promise is right around the corner and Lin score 20 plus....its nonsense....
I wonder if T-Rob was given the go ahead on those jumpers he took. Is he feeling pressured to be able to hit 3's since he's competing with DMo for PT?
Well the reason he wasn't able to recover fast enough is because he was ball watching and allowed Ginobli to get to his spot. Lin reacted but it was too late. The screen wasn't even set full on by Splitter.
For some reason it feels like McHale wants DMO to post up more but for some reason he likes to shoot the 3. I wanna see some of Robinson post moves since hes getting extra help
No he's not rediculous, YOU are! He's simply stating the facts. The Rockets has been playing 70 games so far and how many did Bev out perform Lin? Go take a look and respond back, until then don't type anything.
Ginobli scored enough (3 ptr) on Lin that warrant it's a bad matchup. Lin couldn't do anything on Ginobli on offense. It's like when Shaun Livingston was guarding Lin at PG in the Cavs game. Livingston was able to shoot over Lin at will and blocked his shot when Lin drove. Taller and lengthy players give Lin problems, or just lengthy players in general. Parker is MVP caliber player is known around the league and any fans that watch bball knows it as well. However, the way Lin guarded TP is more porous than swiss cheese. Beverley prevented TP from penetration and that's the difference. Lin just let TP walked into the basket.
Here's an interesting fact... PB is having a better rookie campaign than Lin did at GSW two years ago. It just so happens that as of right now, PB has played in 29 games, the same number as Lin did at GSW. Patrick Beverley 16.1 mpg, .415%, .406% from 3, 2.5 rpg, 2.9 apg, 5.2 ppg Jeremy Lin 9.8 mpg, .389%, .200% from 3, 1.2 rpg, 1.4 apg, 2.6 ppg
we have two examples from both end of the stick. you kept focusing on one end while forgot the other side. at least the "LOF" agreed on what other poster said about bev. btw, don't get me wrong. every pt is important. i am not here to discredit what bev did. but you have to keep it in mind bev is the backup. it means he plays alot minutes against other team's backup.
He has more playing time than Jeremy. But Lin was 21 at the time and Beverley is 24 currently and has pro experience overseas whereas Lin's experience was in the Ivy League conference in college. And what's the point of this?
the key i am interested is whether he can be a floor general, especially when harden is not with him and when he leads the bench. i want to see whether under his control our offense still looks smooth and effective. so far he hasn't convinced me he can.
Rep this. It's just kneejerk comment (Replace Lin with Bev) compounding on kneejerk comment (Extreme comparisons of Lin's off nights to Bev's off nights). Look, both Lin and Bev are inconsistent. If someone's giving either one **** about being inconsistent and not the other, then they are being hypocritical. Until one of the two delivers on a regular basis, then it makes sense for McHale to split the time. That's all it is. Harden can have inconsistent shooting stretches, but he consistently contributes 20+ points, if only because of his uncanny ability to get to the line. Most games he's scoring way above that.
I don't care who's playing bad or who's playing good, as long as we win, we win as a team. Who cares? The Rockets beat the Spurs last night. That is all that matters. I like EVERYONE on the Rockets, I don't play favorites. Sorry man. It doesn't matter if it was Lin or Bev who put up that line, if we won, isn't that a good thing? That's all I'm saying. I don't get the point on crapping on other players to prop up another.
Because other people are crapping on Lin in favor of Bev, and so they lash out in the other direction. Criticism begets criticism. Especially when allegiance is to a player more than the team. Both are promising, inconsistent players.
Yes, me too. I do think that it's amazing that the Rockets roster is playing so well together. Despite having lost some players in the last trade, we're still making noise. Yesterday's win will have been character building.
you do care? I don't read all your posts but at least i have impression you dissed "LOFs" only. can you prove me wrong with one post from you which critisize "LOHs". if not, it means you do care. I just don't know what is your purpose to do that.
