Went there based on the recommendations and was not impressed. My wife and I had calamari for apps and had to return it due to it bieng so hard. We weren't impressed with their main menu either. The chicken parmigian and marsala were just way too salty.

When I went I had basil pesto which was heavy and tomato basil, which was good. My friends had lasagna and seemed to like it. It's decent for the price.

Yes, when you're trying to promote for, what you seem to have convinced most people is, your benefit, and to top it off, you can't even say something different, just copy/paste. How would it look if I went to a bunch of different Rockets boards and started threads with the exact same message? It looks to me like all I want is attention....

Like I said before, I'm getting no benefit out of this. Just like when I started the capri pasta and papa mio threads, I tasted good food and think other people would appreciate it too, and many people did. That's it. Just like I'm not getting anything out of posting METRO threads. I think our public transportation sucks and something needs to be done.

You say you get no benefit, but how do we know? All you've said has given us (I can't speak for everyone, but I can say I've received rep from people saying they agree with me, not to mention other people have commented on the thread) the reason to believe that you do. If you're not, then good for you, but obviously in many people's eyes, that's not the case. As far as the Metro threads go, I would hope you're not getting any benefits out of them, I'm not sure how you could, unless you own stocks. Besides, nobody said anything about you getting any benefit from them, it's solely this one.

If anything, let this be a learning curve for you. I once started a thread trying to help people and got bashed for it because they thought I was doing it for my own benefit. I had to come out and tell people to ask any of the people I willingly helped if I did it for my benefit (I would have had to give them specific instructions and my name for it to benefit me). Long story short, I quit posting for a good amount of time because I was tired of people only looking for reasons to bash you, and learned not to expect anything but bashing if people are given a reason to believe you're in it for your gain. Heck, I was posting some deals recently and accidentally included something in the link that somehow included some type of referall, and got called out for it.

Had I not seen the exact same post in a brand new thread elsewhere, I would have shrugged it off, but that's what made me give it a second glance, and believe there may be a chance the posters suspicions are/were correct. To be honest, this isn't something worth fighting over. Everyone will have their beliefs, and most likely they won't be swayed.

You're looking way too much into it. I just happen to post in those two boards; you'll also find a lot of the same METRO threads here and there. What does that mean Sherlock?!?!?!?! And if you look through my history, I've made threads about best tacos, best pupusas, best pizza (I think) and also other rival Italian places like Papa Mio and Capri Pasta. I also have about 200 yelp reviews. I am what you call a foodie. Do you seriously think I get benefit out of all of these places, especially when I list multiple places in each thread, that compete against each other? I just like eating good food and pass on what I've tried. Literally for fun I go try random places, even in dangerous areas, just to eat good food. This is what I do.

Before I was at Fabio's, I was at Urban Harvest Farmer's Market, where I got brocolli, spinach, mustard greens, carrots, beets, potatoes, and cilantro. Then I went to airline seafood to buy some snapper. Then i went to to wabash to buy a basil plant and houston dairy maids to buy some fresh mozzarella cheese. OMG I better go after all the people that told me about these places the week before because they must have been promoting them when they told me how interesting they were. Because there's no such thing as word of mouth anymore everyone must be connected like the illuminati!
