Yes, I read it a few months ago. Enjoyed it. I hear they are making a movie based on it.

I think Warner Brothers bought the rights to it a few years back

Fun read. You will like it if you like any 80's movies, video games, or music.

I'm reading this now. About halfway done and I love it. The fact that they gave away a DeLaurean through an Easter egg in the book is genius and makes me like it that much more.

I hope Warner Brothers hurries with the movie.

Finished the book recently as well. I also liked it a lot. Usually the girlfriend and I will share books after we finish, but I was thinking she probably wouldn't be into it as much as I was.

To understand some of the terminology and what's going on, I feel like ya either gotta be born in/before the 80's or be a gamer.

    Isn't this his first book?

Also... I'm not so sure this will be a good movie... I can't imagine them creating a movie under 2 hours with so much going on in the book. Also, what about the licensing (right word?) for all of the old movies/games/books?

Yeah the whole time I was wondering how they could possibly make a movie with all the rights they would need to collect. Really fun read though.

I downloaded it to listen to, but haven't had the chance yet. I've been told it was really good though.

I enjoyed this book a lot! It was very fun having all the retro games integrated into book. :)

Me too. I hope they can.

His next book, which nobody is really sure what the subject is - except that he says it's going to be every videogamer's ultimate fantasy - has already sold movie rights to Universal, and there is already a production company attached. The book itself isn't out yet.
