I really wish the Green Chile Whataburger would come back to Houston. Grilled jalapenos and onions are a must add to any burger I order.
The last time I ordered a burger the cheese melt taste like melted wax, WTF? I stop going ever since then.
Order a sausage taquito with cheese. When you get your order, ask for two packets of picante sauce. unwrap your taquito (but don't eat it yet). open a pack of picante sauce. throw the picante sauce into your mouth (don't swallow it yet) swish the picante sauce around in your mouth for a while (and nibble on the picante bits) swallow the picante sauce and immediately take a bite of taquito continue to eat half of the taquito normally Repeat this process with the 2nd packet of picante sauce for the rest of the taquito droxford
This is EXACTLY what I say all the time: "No, thank you. Please let me have a Number 1, no cheese, no onions, add grilled jalapeños, add BACON. The drink will be a COKE no ice. All that how much, please?" I just omit the "Nope, thank you" if they don't offer anything before I order. Instead of just ordering WITHOUT 'melted wax' the next time?

There's never a bad time for a chop house cheddar burger. Also worth noting, their cheap burger, the Justaburger, is pretty good too. If you're not looking to spend much money but want a good burger, get 2 Justaburgers. It'll be around $2.50 and will hold you over for a few hours. And of course you can't go wrong with their taquitos. When I was in college my mom would give me a $20 gift card to Whataburger every once in a while, and every cent of that was spent on sausage, egg and cheese taquitos.
