I was able to watch the last 15 sec of the game. At least I was able to watch the best part.

    Thank God we won.

I checked the posts here before the first half. You guys were on each other's throat for the most part. I thought were down by 20 points or something. I decided to check the score box and saw that we're down by 2 points. I just shook my head.

I give it Beverley that he is pesky, just like TD, but that doesn't necessary mean he's better defensively against Parker. Parker is going to get his points no matter who is guarding him....Lin is plenty fast enough.

Bev was awesome in different ways tonight and glad he came out of little funk. This was huge confidence builder for playoffs, when we'll need everyone. (Not to get ahead of ourselves.)

Lin's smart and will figure out what he needs to do with regards to Parker in future games.

Awesome D by Asik to contain Duncan.
Key block by Bev in the fourth quarter.
    Key clutch shot by Harden.

    Amazing win by the Rockets!

Was hoping Lin would turn up his game this time around.

Parsons had 20/8/2 and you say he had a bad game? Damn your hard to please!

Bev with a +11 , and Asik with 3 blocks, 14 rebounds. He made Mr.Fundamental his byotch tonight.

thats nonsense - if they spurs horse around in the regular season they wouldnt have the best record in the west - they want home court big time.

and this is a HUGE game for the Rockets - most people pegged this as a L and they came up big and are putting a lot of pressure on golden state who have a big matchup with the Lakers tomorrow night. With another tough stretch of games coming up - pacers, grizzlies and clippers -- this game gives this young team a lot of confidence to go up against the upper teams of the league.

granted in the playoffs i do not believe any team wants to face either OKC or the Spurs - I really hope the Rockets can snagged the 6th seed and stay there and play the Clippers

Not saying he needs to be Parker. But he should model his offensive game after him. That will help him be more consistent.

he'll be fine. he had 38pts, and 22 pts against the spurs the last 2 games. sometimes you come out flat and that's what the reserves are for.

I don't know. With OKC you have to stop only two players in Westbrook and Durant. With SA you have to stop Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili. OKC is just flashy so it looks like they might be the harder team to beat.

If Lin wants to put up more point, 3 pts shooting is necessary, so he has more spacing to play with Harden.

He need a healthy off-season to work on his skill sets.

Yes, let's compare a guy barely with 1 season of starting experience to a 10+ year veteran

Let's also ignore the fact Parker averaged 9 points 4 assists his first year as a starter.

BTW, after 3 full seasons as a starter Parker was still only putting up 15 and 5. He also only shoots 31% from three for his career.

But I thought you can't be elite without being able to shoot the 3 ball?

Lin will be fine, people are just expecting too much too early from him because of "Linsanity" and zealous fans overhyping him.

If we can string a few more of these wins together this might actually become a rivalry.

Out of the nuggets grizzlies and clippers i think the clippers would be the worst to play.

Harden is the 1st option and Parson is the second.

Lin like 3rd/4th scoring option in the Rockets.

People should not ask their 3rd option to be consistent, not to say his minutes is less than others.

OKC would be a bad matchup. They're also a young team and can run with us, and they also have a great shotblocker that will give fits to Harden/Lin. With the Spurs though, there's a chance we can tire them out in a 4 game series by running a lot.

OKC has 2 superstars, but let's not forget that Ibaka is having a monster shooting season, and they still have K-Mart on the 2nd unit.

They have no shortage of scoring options.

Combine that with their length, athleticism, speed, shot blocking, and preference to play at a high pace and it's a recipe for Rockets disaster.

The Spurs offense is one to be reckoned with, but our 4 games this season have shown that we are still capable of scoring and even slowing down Tim Duncan and Ginobli to some degree.

They can still slaughter us from the perimeter, but we have a puncher's chance with the Spurs... at least more so than against the Nuggets, Clipper's and OKC who we'd have a tough time beating on the break.

That said, this is all conjecture. There's a reason they play the actual games.
