You need grow up or get a life.

With that being said, Bev had a great game. Lin should learn something from Bev: assert yourself from the get go, be aggressive from the beginning. That is his game. He is not type of guy can wait for game coming to him and then turn it on anytime.

Lin played much better the second half. I am fine with coach playing Bev over him. Either way Parker can't be stopped but Bev give Rox a little bit edge on offense because Lin can't make a shot down the stretch (though I don't remember Bev made a shot in the 4th Qtr either).

Lin got battle for consistency issue for a while, having Bev as a back up is great insurance.

I have accomplished both. Thanks for the concern though.

You, OTOH, need to check the game thread out. Beverly and the Rockets fans are making big plays late in the game and Lin fans are whining over why Lin is not in the game. Beverly makes a big block and Lin fans response? Oh Lin would have made that block.

    ****ing pathetic.

And yet he was far better on Parker than Lin was. I mean, Parker turned on God-mode, to be fair, but Beverley played him about as well as you can.

Great game by Patrick. Like I've been saying, Lin needs to come out and play aggressively and be in attack mode putting pressure on the defense or he is ineffective. He defers too much, gets lost, and gets benched. Then Douglas and now Beverley come in the game playing aggressively and taking shots which earns them more minutes. The only way Lin usually gets his minutes back is when those guys come in and stink it up too. Anyways...fantastic win! That block was a game changer. We were dead in the water before that and the big 3 by Chandler.

Why can't I like Pat and Lin. They're both cool dudes and good players.

Beverly was the reason Rox won tonight. Harden did what Harden does but Beverly gave great energy and his block saved the Rox.

I think currently AB is still more of a Houston fan favorite. But I witnessed his mother and she is quite a MILF (no disrespect).

Except Harden, everyone is role player on this team. So if you don't do your job, then someone will do it for you.

Lin didn't do his job from time to time, so the coaches let Bev. do it for him, as simple as that.

But Bev. is only a good situational player, he cannot be effective as a 30+ minutes starter, at least not now. Lin runs the team much better than him, but Bev. suits the 4th qtr. better because Harden will take over most of the time, so Lin's PG duty is not that useful/critical with the way the Rockets are playing in 4th.

Change Coach or Let Lin Go.

I tried to post something here but it never show, so let me try again.
I think a lot of Lin's inconsistency is due to he is faced with a harsher standard, if he doesn't perform well, he'll be benched. Unlike other two starters Harden and Parsons.

So what if this game was lost when he's benched? Everyone would be saying the other thing. It is obvious that the coach and his team does not want to develop and foster Lin. The management team may only saw him as a marketing tool, so they will minimize the chance for Lin to shine in order to devalue him and able to resign him at a low price they can match when the contract is up. It's time for Lin to go if you don't want to trust him.

The more I watch this kid play the more I like what he brings ... He may well end up as a starter in the league at some point in time.

Im amazed at how many diamonds in the rough Morey has been able to find late in the first round , in the second round and now as pretty much a street free agent.

    Brooks a late first (26th)

Landry , Budinger , Parsons all 2nd rounders

Beverley , Greg Smith , Tim Ohlbrecht all un-drafted. (tho its a bit early to say Ohlbrecht will amount to anything).

love beverly's contract (Although I am sure it is just some standard undrafted rookie contract). Makes him far more valuable for trading. Almost as valuable as Parsons.

Rockets do use 1,2 Pick & Roll with Harden and Lin sometime during crunch time. So far it does seen pretty effective. Of course when Lin is sucking on offense, I don't remember seeing Rocket go it.

Bev just doesn't seem to have offensive talent to run this with Harden.
So do prefer we 2nd scoring option if Lin is on, but agreed when Lin is off, Bev seem like the better choice.
