Pretty much means no more drone attacks on suspected terrorists. warfare all back in pentagon's hands. no more us citizens over seas suspected of terrorism wiped off map. no more collateral damage from such actions. people who complain about obama's over use of power should be applauding this move. for some reason it hasn't been reported much. link
I will believe it when I see it. If they do, then it's a move that should have been done years ago. Noone is reporting it because noone wants to bring up the fact that a US citizen was murdered by drones even though I most certainly believe he deserved it.
it has been in the media, he declared himself an enemy of state in a war zone, move it to the d&d i can't start threads there. i couldn't help but start this one though
he's still a US citizen. How the hell does a terrorist like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed have rights to a trial (yes yes I know it's a show trial) but a citizen doesnt? everythings upside down
Hahahaha no offense Gabriel but I don't believe this for a second. And I'm very far removed from a conspiracy theorist type person.
I don't understand what would preclude the Pentagon: or POTUS himself, on a case by case basis, from authorizing covert, classified assault operations outside of combat theaters.
It is interesting how it's ok for the American goverment to kill non - Americans but it isn't ok for them to kill Americans.
i don't understand this post. the whitehouse is getting out of using drones through the cia. they will be used for declared military action through the pentagon.
Even as liberal as I am, I don't quite believe they've quit using drones. He'll probably get caught with a hand in the cookie jar and a George Bush "there's no link between Saddam Hussein and al Qaeda" look on his face.
