That's pretty dangerous to do that. So let's say stevenson's head did hit the ground then would you guys think it was a dirty foul? Having someone grab you by the neck while running at max speed is dangerous in my book.....
are you guys serious? that is an f'd up play where he made NO play for the ball, grabbed him around the shoulders/neck, and then OHHHHHH wow he put his hand sout like he "could've" caught him on his way down. That is a dirty f'ing play and I cannot believe you guys don't think this is terrible. If that was a Rockets player you would be livid. F2 and suspension, there is NO NEED for that kind of foul in professional basketball. If he is too small to make a TRUE impact on the play, then he doesnt need or have the right to do something so potentially dangerous.
agreed, its BS that people are saying its not so bad because his head DIDN'T hit the ground. so what, the offensive player had a small stroke of luck and that diminished the fault of the defender? bullsht. f Nate Robinson, dirty hobbit.
You guys are crazy if you think this wasn't dirty... and I hate Lance Stephenson. This is pretty close to a horse-collar in the NFL.
Looks worse than it was.... He was just trying to keep him from getting the layup, and he probably went a little too far with it, but it was hardly "dirty". He clearly wasn't trying to hurt the dude or anything. Should have been a flagrant 1 in my opinion, but because Stephenson got hurt, a flagrant 2 isn't unreasonable at all.
some plays are just too dangerous to permit, intentional or not. if you get beat by your man so bad your only hope of preventing a bucket is to grab someone from behind with no chance of getting at the ball, you shouldn't have any right to prevent that bucket.
definite flagrant 2. Anything in the neck area on a fast break with 0 play on the ball should be a flagrant 2.
Stephenson was in the act of launching and totally defenseless. Same thing. Very dangerous type of play that should specifically be addressed by the NBA.
Not as dirty as this one. <iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/L-H3MRf5J78" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="420"></iframe>
how about a person's reputation? is that enough prof to get a flagrant 2 if a person has done the same action in the past?
If I was Dragic, I would have walked up to Nate Robinson and given him 3 seconds to apologize and if not I would have stomped his knee so hard it would look like Shaun Livingston's after that horrific fall then I would have told him "Don't play dirty unless you want to get dirty" and spit in his face! Robinson is a piece of $hit!
Sure dude... as if! You wouldn't do sh.t. Don't try to act tough on the internet man, that's just pathetic... And Nate Robinson is a good dude. Last game of Bulls vs Warriors. When Nate and Curry collided and Curry got a knee against his head by his own teammate, Nate immediately checked if he was alright.
