Well, McHale wanted Goran too. But Morey knows what he wants. At least players know it's nothing personal. Many times it's the flexibility that their contract is or is not able to give the Rockets. One thing though playing in the Rockets' system increases their confidence and inflates their value and usually they do well on their next team as well.
Good to see Livingston come back from a career ending injury and still produce at a decent level. If not for the injury, Livingston probably would have turned out to be a very good player.
Wow... really not cool. By all accounts, Livingston was just a casualty and has done nothing to deserve that kind of treatment...
He didn't draft Love. He acquired him in a draft day trade for Mayo and others. (he could have had a say in who the Grizzlies picked though)
Yeah honestly if we wanted to cut anyone Matchado should have been cut instead. the Rox just didn't want to pay a 3rd string guard 3M for the year. I wanted Livingston over TD anyway, Livingston was shaping up to be a superstar before his knee gave out, and now he's still a starting caliber pg in the nBA. Having him now as a backup woudl have been great.
This really isn't news. Because I remember GARM made a huge stink about us letting Livingston go back when it happened. But for the rowdies not to know that, I feel sad to say I'm not surprised.
