Doesn't this **** ever get old? LeBron or Kobe? Kobe or LeBron? LeBron or Michael? Michael or LeBron? Kobe or Michael? Michael or Kobe? LeBron, Kobe, or Michael? Michael, Kobe, or LeBron? "Well if you aren't interested in the thread/topic, you don't have to visit." Blah blah blah
I'm not ignoring them. I just don't say he led those teams to titles, the same way I'm not saying Gasol led LA to their last 2 titles even though he too was a big factor in winning. I guess Dream needs 1 more ring to be considered better than him?
I compared the stats without Shaq. LeBron still has better stats. He is also 1 title and Finals MVP behind Kobe (without Shaq).

No it doesn't get old. Because that's what basketball, or any sport is about. Comparisons. The idea of a match-up or a game is comparing the talents of two teams. In this case it's two players. If you really can't deal with the never-ending comparisons that naturally comes with sports, then maybe you ought not to be on this board.
You really didn't prove anything to me. I said that Kobe hits his fair share of shots, but at this point Lebron does the same thing. The only difference is that Lebron doesn't take bad shots, he would rather pass it off to a better shot which is admirable. Kobe, no matter what, will shoot the shots in the last minute, regardless of how many defenders are around him.
Kobetards have got no shame....Poor Kobe has got no help and is forced to play with scrubs Howard, Gasol, MWP and Nash. How can he compete against Lebron and Co when his team is so stacked...er...I mean...when the decks are so stacked against him.
Let's not foget that Kobe did that without being the #1 scoring option on his team from 96-04. The ball went to Shaq first, Lebron essentially got to do whatever he wanted on offense for his first 8 years.
Yeah, well there are a lot of Kobe fanboys out there. Lebron already has 1 ring and 3 MVPs to his name at age 28, and is on a lock to get his 4rth MVP and 2nd ring this year. His resume at age 28 is already more impressive than Kobe's entire career.
This is the crazy part, MJ actually played in an era where defensive hanchecking was allowed. If he played today MJ woudl probably cause all stat geeks to pass out. I'm not an MJ fan but I can't deny how dominant that guy was (still not better than Kareem or Dream though lol imho).
Going about that point, how do you think Lebron would've done if he played in the Western conference and Kobe in the Eastern conference? Don't you think that Kobe's numbers could be higher and Lebron's lower since historically the West has always had tougher competition?
By the end of it all, Bron will have a chance to exceed MJ. Kobe never had that chance. Bron is just a better basketball player than Kobe in every aspect of the game.
