And if we had picked Sullinger, some fans would have complained about picking another injury prone player who is already out for the year with a serious injury and the Rockets should have known better with the red flags regarding his back prior to the draft.

 

Not to mention TJones too, who just dropped 31 at RGV, a number Royce could not even sniff.

Royce is just not that good, figured that out at Summer league and training camp and has been running ever since.

That's why I think it's funny when he tweets that he's excited to go back to Houston and get to work and get ready for next year. Ain't no way he's leap frogging guys for playing time whose been working their butt off night in and night out.

 

I'm tired of hearing about royce. Cut him. Hes not remotely worth all this.

What is this guy going to do when his contract runs out ? He seems very confident right now in what he is doing. He probably thinks another team will give him a contract. This current lavish lifestyle of his will come to an end after the next year.

 

Are we stuck with this guy for three years?

 

His rookie contract is two... two years too long.

 

One after this summer I assume.

Still, it wouldn't bother me a bit if they just waived and forgot about him. His propensity for public drama is enough alone to not want any affiliation with the guy.

I just cant see Morey or Les extending the olive branch once again just to get him to show up in D league. Something that no player, much less a rookie has any legs to ignore or make excuses for not showing up to.

 

I'm sure its going to get to that point, its all got to get signed off by everyone though since its a sensitive issue I'm sure. I really don't care at this point if they waive him either, we wouldn't be picking up the option after the end of his second year anyway.
