he's getting up there in age and his team isn't winning a title any time soon. Maybe he should just retire and relax
I hope his wife gets better, but Lord knows I would trade McHale, a second rounder and the rights to Royce White and his Twitter feed to have Rick back as our coach.
This may be the end of a line for Rick's coaching career. Shame he got robbed of a ring with the Kings.
I love Adelman If that team was healthy with Rick at the helm, they would be in the playoffs, no doubt in my mind
Best wishes for his wife. But I think he was also hoping for more from this team. Rubio, Love seemed like great building blocks to build around. Pekovic, Budinger, Kirilenko, Ridnour actually seemed like a really good supporting cast. Injuries happened. If they were all healthy, I wonder how far they could go.
Gordon Bennett! this adelaman is a walking disaster... half of his roster injured and now this... he seems to carries a lot of negative energy....keep him out of houston nevermind his renomee
He's made out to be an elite level coach. His teams have historically disapointed and his stubbornness is a problem. He's a good coach don't get me wrong but he is not on a championship level coach in my opinion.
I love Adelman's brand of basketball. If it were up to me I'd have back in Houston in a heartbeat. His stubborness was annoying at times, but IMO, the players that deserved to be on the court eventually made it there. Those Kings teams are, outside of the Rockets, one of my all time favs. I was barely in high school, but I remember that fleecing the refs put on them in that playoff game against the Lakers like it was yesterday. Coincidentally, that Lakers team is one of my favs as well. Best wishes to Rick and his wife.
