Guys, just put the troll on your Ignore list. They thrive on this kind of attention. The point is the more you try to reason with them the more fun they have. So just ignore him is the best bet (and report him as well).
The point of this thread was when you kick the guy when he is down(I was guilty of that) it's also fair to give him the credit when he deserves it like now. Somehow this thread went down the river.
I know that as a "2012er" (and a Lin fan) my opinion is not much wanted or valued by some but I think you did a noble thing here. It's not your fault that there are posters (old and new) whose intentions are not as noble. So...thanks.
As people who criticizes Lin unfairly come out to say the truth that they saw the potential in Lin but he wasn't living up to it. On the flip side don't put Lin on such a high pedestal that he can only fall from. Lin knows the scouting report, he knows what people perceive as his weakness... the guy has heard this all his life and worked to prove it wrong. We are seeing the same thing from him from the beginning of this season. His spot up jumpers and 3 pointers are coming around, he and Harden can play together and you see that Harden can trust and defer to Lin to run things.
Not liking where the thread is heading either, but props and respect to you for your original post that started this thread. PS: Trying to give you credit where credit's due, too
