Robinson actually had a good game.

Also the moment Delfino was put on Favors, Favors became a game changer after being completely invisible while Robinson was on him.

PPatt continues to contribute for the Kings. He was a key player in the win against the Twolves tonight. 5-10FG, 11pts, 4R, 2A, 2 Steals, 2Blocks.

Very impressed! Announcers kept praising him and they want him to be more of a focal piece of the offense. His midrange game continues to be money!

    Missing you PPatt

Yeah, the King fans seem to like him, though some still complain about his defense, yet he plays better pick-n-roll defense, spaces better and shoots better than Jason Thompson.

Why only 4 rebounds? Is Cousins stealing them?

At half time, they had a video montage on him. His solid play has shown a level of maturity which has solidify some of SAC's offense. He's as big or bigger than TRob. Only thing TRob might have over him is explosiveness, but that's still a work in progress. I think the verdict is still out on this one.

i'd rather have the extra cap space and Robinson's upside than Patterson. Robinson can jump out of the gym and is hungry. He's gonna keep improving.

And ....we're not winning a championship this year anyway, so why not keep building for the future? If we miss the playoff, guys like CH will have a point, but if we make the playoffs, I think this argument is settled for good.

You and most sane GM's. Robinsons upside is far better.

Except we didn't get any cap space since Robinson will make more than Ppat next year. I don't even think Morey thought Robinson would turn out something special, he just didn't want to pay ppat at end of next season which is understandable.

The truth is we probably aren't going to win championship while the thunder or heat are around. It would be nice to make the playoffs and win a few series here and there.

I don't get the "we can't win a championship this year" stuff. True, this team as now composed cannot, but we have to look at how each player has performed since the trade.

If we had Patterson instead of Robinson we'd have an extra 0.3 rebounds and 5 points in the 7 extra minutes PPatt would give you.

    LeBron look out!!1!

Hmmm, upside? Initially I thought that meant a true 6'10" power forward who would be a beast rebounding and a high percentage in the post scorer. Instead his size was overblown but the Rockets/Morey had to know that since he's been playing for half a season now. PPat is only 24 whereas TRob is 22 so they are both young, not in their prime. As of right now, it seems like PPat will always be the better shooter. If it's true that TRob is 6'7/6'8, he's gonna need a lot of explosiveness to make up for lack of size. Be interesting to see who is taller, PPat or TRob. As for in the post scoring, TRob really hasn't shown anything yet, don't know if he ever will.

One thing the Rockets will definitely miss is the floor spacing that PPat provided. It was mentioned in the SAC video montage how his shooting spread the defense.

CF seem to be allergic to math.

    Next years salary
    T-Rob $3,526,440
    PPat $3,105,301

I don't believe everything what Morey tells us. DMo is finally in the rotation. Mission accomplished. IMO, everything else is just a smoke screen.

What's more important? Rockets are 8-5 since the trade and playoff bound!

i was mistakenly forgetting that the Morris deal is what provided the extra cap space, not the Sac trade. none-the-less, my point is that this trade can't be considered anything other than successful as long as we make the playoffs. We've got another young asset on a rookie contract that will either develop into a part of our core, or will be traded for an impact player. Pat was not part of our core, and waiting till next season to move him would have reduced his value on the open market, because he's just and expiring contract at that point as opposed to a skilled player on a rookie scale contract.

We save cash next season i think. This is just typical run of the mill, recycle rookie contracts, Morey style.
