Royce "special accommodations" White seems like a good old school nickname. None of that new age crap where you combine the first letter of first name with first 3 letters of last name.

Royce decided to go home just so he could be assured of watching Iowa State in the Tournament.

I am not sure why you dislike Morey so much and hate on every move he makes, but I wouldn't make Royce a part of your anti-Morey agenda.

They don't want to get rid of him because he is a "pain in the butt", they want him to contribute in some way to the team paying him millions of dollars. Like he agreed to do when he signed the contract.

Honestly if he isn't medically able to play with the current CBA guidelines the Rockets should get medical waiver for insurance and salary cap. If he is medically able to play and the NBA or insurance does not approve of that allowance, he should be suspended.

All his answers are bogus. Sounds like rehearsed nonsense. It's like you're in an argument about politics and all of a sudden one lunatic decides to center the argument around the color purple, which leaves you with a WTF feeling of confusion which ends the argument that he was probably losing.

Royce White is a Grade A whack-a-mole. He's completely delusional. He lives in some fantasy world and half the time, though it sounds like English, he's almost completely unintelligible.

The way I look at him is. It's like he comes from a family where not one person has ever picked up a book in their lives, but here he comes, the genius of geniuses, Mr. Royce White himself, picks up the very first book in their family's history and reads one whole chapter of a Psych 101 book. Now, he's feeling good. He's feeling like the smartest man on planet Pluto. And he decides to let the whole world know. He's developed some kind of superiority complex armed with the knowledge of one whole chapter from his Psych book.

I blame the Knicks for all of this. Royce was drafted with their 16th pick. Everything we got from them sucks including Hill.

If only that three way tie worked in our favor and we got the 17th or 18th pick. I hear the Mavs wanted him. It would have been perfect if they got him and we got Zeller, Nicholson or even Sully.

People are overwhelmingly scapegoating White without knowledge of the facts. It's one thing to be a Rockets fan, but we simply do not know the details here.

the Rockets drafted a kid with a mental illness. Now that he is having mental problems and it's interfering with him playing basketball, people are complaining and calling him names. That doesn't sit well.

People say he lied and deceived. I mean, seriously, what is he going to do? You think he doesn't want to be a productive member of society? You think he doesn't care and wants to sit and be lazy? Guy is a 22 year old kid who has massive debilitating fears about things and he has to now face a word that thinks he's faking it and being a p***y. You don't even get to the level these athletes reach if you don't have a strong work ethic. There's no such thing as a lazy NBA player. Or even most college players. You don't get your body into that sort of shape without an incredible amount of hard work.

The dude has problems. Real problems. And it's not working apparently with professional basketball. I hope he is able to figure it out and get what he wants in life. I don't begrudge him at all for the money or for his failures - not at least without knowing the full story.

But you can go ahead and judge without the facts. I think it's rather unfair.

Actually, Kevin Mchale forced the organization to draft him. Every member of the front office voted hell no.

Why can't Royce White ever be specific? He's had a number of opportunites, and been pressed by the media to talk about the specifics, but he won't. That is why nobody trusts him.

    Facts

    OCd is undiagnosed.

He had to be suspended before he agreed to meet with the Rockets doctor.

His doctor is not a psychiatrist

He never says specifically what his actual issues with the Rockets are, they are always leaked.

Fact: he is not an NBA player

He is completely out of shape. He has put in NO hard work.

Can we just refer to him as "the one who must not be named"?

Nick makes a great point about Royce and narcissism, one I believe but up until didn't quite know how to bring it out. Narcissism mixed up with mental health issues.....that is Royce White.

    The Narcissistic Mental Health Democrat.

Where do you get this from?

Regardless, who we draft is Morey's decision. Les is the only person who can force Morey to do anything.

Interesting that was posted after your hate all offseason and then your problem with the Harden trade. It reads more like a "I was wrong" thread honestly.

Good for you for posting it. Because you were wrong. :)

Why be mad? Morey took a risk. He's supposed to. Royce is only looking out for Royce, he's supposed to. If anything, everybody did what they were supposed to. The people who we should be mad at are the people who didn't voice up to Morey not to draft Royce and the people who placate Royce by saying his dumbass story inspires them. Be mad at the enablers if you want to be mad. Personally, I don't care, we have Harden and we have a future now. Everything else is gravy if it happens.
