Yes, he needs a lot of work. The talent is there, the work ethic is not. If he put as much work into basketball as he did into tweeting, he'd be in the NBA right now.
He's nowhere near NBA ready. He looks sloppy and generally uninterested. I've completely lost interest in this guy. He is the least mature player I can think of, and we're talking NBA here
I have noticed that the very few people who still hype this guy are the same people who make the most idiotic posts in other forums as well. Nyer Mloon gly
Novak got a 4 year 20 million dollar contract to shoot spot up 3 and he plays pf. Novak is awful on everything else. White will be at least a bench player.
I hope he can score 50 pt, dish out 20 assist, and 15 reb one day in Viper so he can at least have some value that we can trade him.

"most logical" LMAO. The "fun" with this idiot never ends. If anyone actually thinks at this point that this guy will ever have an NBA career, they are delusional. This will end badly. And by this, I mean Royce White.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Never said I'd be rejoining the @<a href="https://twitter.com/houstonrockets">houstonrockets</a>... only that I'd be returning to Houston. Again, thank you @<a href="https://twitter.com/rgvvipers">rgvvipers</a> for having me.</p>— Royce White (@Highway_30) <a href="https://twitter.com/Highway_30/status/314737127759962112">March 21, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
And that pretty much does it... as if he had .1% chance of having an incredible summer and training camp to earn a chance at getting his option picked up in October, and making the team next year.... now its down to 0. He's done, and the Rockets have no other option than to just let him get fat and tweet about Ghandi at home on their dime. He'll get an invite to training camp next year and might even play in Summer League, but the inevitable is going to happen now with this poor D-League stint that he couldn't even overcome... Royce White is done with the Rockets unofficially.
He equated his mental illness to physical injury... so basically he's a mediocre player who is extremely injury prone.
Shockingly enough it seems he wasn't too popular in RGV either. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Don't think too many folks with the @<a href="https://twitter.com/rgvvipers">rgvvipers</a> are disappointed with Royce White's departure.</p>— David Hinojosa (@hinojosa_david) <a href="https://twitter.com/hinojosa_david/status/314742325383413760">March 21, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
^fixed... "Hatred" is too strong of a word to use in this case. You've never met him too. You can hate the situation he creates and be annoyed by him, but to have a hatred for someone that you hardly know is wasting energy. #BeWell lolz
Is that's what the team physician is suggesting, fine. The problem is it looks like this is a chronic problem for White that won't go away. The Rockets can't afford to make him a part of the team when, at any moment, a physician could deem it "most logical" for him to stay home instead of play basketball.
