Too early Smeagol! Season still not over! When Lin does well, the board is a lot more calm and less McHale/Harden hate which is good.
Thanks for the vid. No doubt that Harden is like a Ginobili clone. Fortunately for us he just happens to come with a few upgrades that you'd expect from version 2.0 less injury prone, stronger and better at finishing with contact and drawing fouls. He plays at a more conservative pace though and doesn't have that 'spark' that Ginobili has imo. I think Lin is comparable to Ginobili in the ways I have cited in my previous post more so than he resembles Tony Parker but it would be great if he can combine the qualities of both
What's the matter? Feeling delusional after you fought with your lil brother b/c his Warriors lost ground to the Rockets?
The stats in the first Suns game hurts my eyes... but I'm happy Lin's performance is trending upwards at least.
Come on, there is a process to gain coach's confidence. The way Lin is playing, there is no reason the coach won't trust him. You need to understand Lin had a rough start at early season.
Elite level? Not sure yet. As a Lin fan, at this moment, I just hope he will have a long, productive NBA career as a starting PG. Anything above is just fatanstic.
is it only me, cause i'm actually so happy that he had to adjust his game due to harden and develop his off the ball game.
He doesn't suck at all, he just needs time to adjust. To me he looks like a very talented player with a bright future. While his shot has been off for a few game he D has gotten better. I think once he adjust the NBA, fast pace and becomes better conditioned you will see him hitting those 3's.
To be honest, Lin has still slightly underperformed my expectations. I expected about another point and assist per game, not Linsanity levels of play, but a bit better than this. Right now he's an average starting point guard, which means he's worthy of his contract, but no more than that. However, he definitely shows flashes of the potential to develop into an AS level guard. He needs to start doing it consistently and continue to work on that 3P shot and he just might get there.
