I was tottaly wrong about Lin. I personally thought he was an average to above average over hyped PG.. However, his play has convinced me otherwise.. I'm glad that our backcourt for the foresseable future is set.. Keep attacking mr lin.
Very classy of you! I admire that. But now do you expect him to turn into an all-star? I think he'll be a solid above-average PG, someone who'll peak at just outside the top 10. Of course, I'm tempering my expectations so that I won't be disappointed!
Just admitting that Lin is a lot better then he looked at the start of the year.He is really good when he looks to be creative.
Well, Jeremy did play like the bottom 5 pg earlier this season though. There is nothing wrong to predict or worry about a player's future. However, making judgment about a player who is just having a first starting line-up year would be somewhat extreme. Hopefully, we all learn and have patience, because life is much more about basketball. Go Rockets!!!
The next and final step for lin to reach elite status is consistent play. That will come hopefully with a larger span of time.
Yeah I just inow lins gonna lay a stinier or two in a couple of games. Sigh the difficulties of young pgs
He needs to become more consistent in his play. I think his ceiling is a top 10 point guard, which would be great for an undrafted kid.
I think the fact that he is just now healthy is not really being given enough attention. I mean, in the last few game since the word that he was finally recovered from the off-season surgery has been going around, I have notice a marked improvement in his first step -- back to linsanity levels. He is blowing by defenders again like he has been shot out of a gun, and he is finding a way to score at the rim when he is doing so at a much higher rate. We all saw how much Harden was affected by the knee issues he had recently, and to what extent it hurt his ability to get to the rim and finish and to get to the line. Lin, it seems, was similarly affected by his recovering knee.
Morey in one offseason raided the Knicks and the Bulls dry.. The Knicks with Lin would be scary and the Bulls with Asik holding the second unit in check on defense would be scary..
Let's hope he can keep that ceiling up all the time, maybe 3 or 4 elite games and 1 sucky game instead of the previous 1 elite game and 3-4 disappearing stretch.
