I didn't watch the game, just looked at the box score. I meant Lin had a better game than his average, so was Beverley. Everybody else except D-Mo had an average game, including Harden.
your statement makes ppl believe lin gets nothing every time he attacks the rim. well, harden gets everything. do i need to continue? i don't think so.
Didn't watch the game how was it? I looked at the box score looks Like Jeremy and Harden were really good but apart from them it was a stinker. Same first half crap as before? Also, Bench play is REALLY IMPORTANT to the poster that said it was irrelevant. The rockets have had enough years with a bad bench to see the results. Even when Yao went down our bench was giving us so much production we kept winning.
I was ****ting bricks when the lead was down to 7 points. I thought we were going to choke. Luckily we held on.
I'd take 2 wins out of 4 perhaps even 1 provided we can take care of business against teams we should beat. Cavs, Magic, Phoenix (x2), Kings (x2) and Blazers.
I thought Mchale learned his lesson: DMO is not a 3 point shooter. When I saw 2 post entry passes in the 1st half I thought Mchale realized DMO is more effective on the block. At least get his confidence up there before letting him brick 4 shoots in a row from behind the line.
lin played just like he did during linsanity. he consistently attacked the rim. somehow, either he was too fast or jazz defense was so bad.
Judging from the last two games I am worried that only Lin and Harden will show up in the Playoffs. We will need every player to play well not just those two.
I know I should be happy we got this win... but I can't help but worry that we barely won against a Jazz team that's been self-destructing lately and with home court advantage. Not to mention we had a few days rest. Substitutions have been bad, true, but a lot of the players i.e. Parsons have been real cold lately.
Not to take away from Lin's great game, but Big Al's pick and roll defense is atrocious. Guards blow by him on a nightly basis.
maybe that was the plan all along, let him recover with low minutes and unleash him for the playoff run right to the playoff. the backcourt duo is growin mon linharden morphing into one super animal.
I agree, he pretty much got to the paint at will tonight. Too bad he had a couple blocked and got no love from the refs, but he finished most of them. Also nice to see he ain't pushing his luck with the 3 pointer unless he's completely open.
Really can't compare the two. Harden is pretty much best in the league at drawing fouls. Lin could learn a thing or two about selling calls from Harden.
