it all depends on other teams. if their defense shows cracks the whole game, he will explore them. otherwise, he will get his teammates involved. so # isn't important. his bball IQ is more important than his #.

Lin really saved us tonight. When he shoots with confidence, he's a great player.

eh, we took them down 3 times. I'm not too worried about Golden State. They are a young team like the rockets and will have just as many inconsistent games and ups and downs.

Rockets need to focus and get that 6-spot. Lets go spursssss

If only look at the box score, everybody played decent except D-Mo a bit off and the 3s weren't falling.

Beverley and Lin had an above average game, Harden is as good as he always is.

Doesn't Mac realize Rockets' bench sucks? It's hard to say it's bench's fault when everyone knows they suck.

It shouldn't have been such a close game. It's not difficult to see Beverley was playing ****ty for awhile and our lead was dwindling in the 4th quarter.

People complaining about the bench need to chill. In the post season the bench is irrelevant. Starters will be playing big minutes (but this is McHale we are talking about so who knows).

I don't think McHale did anything particularly wrong coaching wise this game. Utah just went on a hot stretch & McHale timely put the starters back in.

Not to worried about D-mo or Parsons. Players go through highs & lows all the time.

Lin was left on the bench for a very long time after he was carving up the Utah defense.

    I think it went:

Second team no Harden or Lin
    Second team with Harden
Second team no Harden or Lin
Then Lin comes in with all the starters when Utah starts to get close.

Wincan, Lin just had an above average game? IMO, Lin was either the best player out there given the minutes he played, or by far the 2nd best player. What game are you watching?

Duncan is STILL a beast! We have to avoid being the 8th seed at all costs...i just cant believe they are still winning without parker

What would you say if McSuccess does this exact rotation again in the playoffs? Remember he had never coached in a playoff game so he might just do it!

I agree. The only thing I don't like is PFs shooting 3s.

Are you joking me? It's during the post-season that the bench becomes very important.

    Good, nerve-wracking win.

I really wish McHale would stop having long stretches of Lin/Harden on the bench. One of them should be on the floor at ALL TIMES.

I know DMO will improve his 3 in the off season but for now I also wish he'd stick to he's specialty: post moves.

P.S. I thought this was gonna be Chandler's first game without a clumsy dribble out of bounds but he came through near the end , they also make me LOL but not when the game is so close.
