I love my Rockets but our second unit is just horrible. Our back up pg, pf and center are are rookies on top of that..

Beverley: rookie, inexperienced, below average handles, poor shooting

Robinson: rookie and inexperienced, poor shot selections

Smith: technically a rookie, below average defender, inconsistent.

I'm glad we have a veteran like Delfino on our team but he is no six man neither and can't really create his own shot.

On top of that, Lin, Asik and D-Mo often don't get starter minutes. We should play Brooks instead of Beverley imo and even play Brooks and Lin at the same time when Harden needs a rest.

Yes. As well we should. The Rockets have extremely overachieved and should be a lottery team with how young and untalented the roster is.

WE were decent on bench, it is Morey's grand strategy fires back.

Morey doesn't care about this year. Hope everything works out a couple of years from now.

I think they can be good individually, but it is up to the coaches to set them up on the offensive end.

I like Beverley, but I've been feeling like we need another scorer off the bench after losing Douglas. Aaron Brooks can bring that.

McHale needs to play both brooks and Beverly for short spurts, have Beverly check the other teams back up 2 and brooks act as the creator.

I for one am happy Garcia did not play today.

Our starters aren't good enough where we can be worrying about our bench yet. The time to worry about a bench is when you have 2-3 star players and just filling out your roster. Like when morey added Brooks, Landry, Scola, Lowry when back when we had Yao and T-Mac.

Brooks & Anderson need more playing time. Love Beverly but he doesn't have the offensive fire power the rockets need.

I'd like to see this bench.

    Brooks
    Anderson
    Delfino
    T.Jones or T.Rob
    T.Ohlbrecht

Unlike previous seasons when we consistently had some of the deepest benches in the league, this season our bench is the weak link. Assuming Brooks is playing well in practice and adjusting to this team, I think he could bring a lot to the table in terms of scoring. i hope he still has some juice left in him like when he use to play for us, that guy would rain 3's and bring some high energy to the game. While I like Beverley, I have trouble believing he is a better player than Brooks. Beverley is similar to Brooks in that he is a smaller- up tempo player, but unlike Brooks he can play defense and has more upside than Brooks at this point in his career. I think that Beverley still has definite upside to his career, but I doubt he can ever become the natural 3 point shooter that Brooks is. But it seems Beverley is the better floor general than Brooks is, Brooks has a tendency to stop the flow of the offence. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I don't see Brooks getting much playing time, the season is coming to a close and Beverley has been with this squad longer than Brooks has. I hope to see Brooks next season though!

Yup, we definitely have the worst starter among playoff teams if we make it. That's not a knock on him. But hit we get in he would have only started 25 games and played around 30 to 35 in his career.
