If the Heat break it by beating the Bucks then they will still have 5 more regular season games to go. They are only 1.5 up on SA and 2.5 up on OKC, and if they beat SA to extend the streak then they will own the tiebreaker. But if they just mail it in the last few games it is possible for them to lose HCA for the Finals.

So I don't expect much resting.

Nobody is loving the Miami Heat Streak and the attention they're getting that Pop and the Spurs. Miami will be a tired team come playoff time after chasing history. Bottom line, as good as Miami is playing the only team from the west that can beat them and will are the S.A. Spurs.

A good point. keeping a winning streak alive takes a lot of focus and mental concentration. There will be a let down after the streak is broken. Especially if it is broken by the Spurs, it may become a psychological thing if they have to face the Spurs in the Finals.

But this team has dominating talents, good role players, and experienced veterans presence. A very formidable juggernaut.

It looks like they're chilling for large portions of the game then decide to go for it at some point. Weird. Hope they don't burn out!

Honestly I don't think this will happen, because unlike last year the Heat this year actually has a good supporting cast. Ray Allen, Wade, Bosh, Chalmers and Battier's a good cast to win games by themselves, so even if LBJ burns out a game or two they should still be in good shape, unlike last year if LBJ was off the Heat loses.

Is going to end at Chicago or vs the Knicks. Maybe at Orlando because they played the Heat well last time they played each other, almost ended their streak. I don't see them losing to the Spurs because Tony Parker is injured. But most likely their streak will end once they get home court advantage, they will rest their starters and the streak ends there.

Tom Thibodeau's D comes through with a depleted team, impressive coaching.

Playoff atmosphere. Hard fouls and everything. I love it.

Tom is a great coach indeed. It is a shame that Rose is injured right now, but his job should be safe for a while.

About time... it was getting really old watching ESPN try and find ever more creative ways to fellate LeBron and the Heat. Let's talk about that Knicks win streak. Only 27 more to go!

Still a hell of a streak, if Chicago didn't stop them San Antonio would have.

Too bad.. it was about the only interesting thing left in this season. Now the rest of the Heat games are meaningless as they basically have HCA locked up.

To be fair... how many times do win streaks like that happen?
Rockets and Heat recently. That's it. Not to mention Heat had a chance at surpassing the all-time record.
