[FUN] Some lady signed up to services with my email address

    Some lady in California signed up to Walgreens, Pandora, iTunes and other stuff with my gMail address... she may have misspelled her own. I want to have fun with this and I need ideas.

    The emails start off with "Dear Melissa"... but that's not me, I swear. The Walgreens where she signed up is in St. Bernardino. I have the address. I've already reset the Pandora password, but that was all. I removed the stations she chose.

    Pandora said: Listen to 'Noel Torres Radio' and 'Grupo Escolta Radio' in shuffle mode!

    Walgreens said she needs to refill her TRINessa prescription, FYI. :cool:

    That's ****ed up. Why not help someone out instead of making things difficult on them. I guarantee you that if someone else did this you would be up their ass.

    I get this all the time since I was early into gmail and have a really simple email address. Never crossed my mind to mess with those people. Jerk.

    :grin: no harm done, man... prank is prank... I'd see the humor in me F#$^ing up my own email address. I'd accept my own fault, that's what. Besides... I can't really do anything about Pandora... maybe just Walgreens.

    I'm in the same boat. someone created a facebook with my email address. I kept getting notifications so finally i took the account over and disabled the facebook. now instead of notifications I keep getting password requests notifications.

    And... I don't know the iTunes password and will not reset that one. I haven't tried it, but I bet it asks a personal "reset" question... which I will not know... or... will I? ;)

    :confused: Why would I log in to her accounts? They're my "accounts" on those services since they're under my email address. In Pandora, for example, she didn't add any personal info. She only added the address. It is now MY ACCOUNT. She will have to create an account in Pandora with her REAL address when she realizes she typed it incorrectly. Do you understand that?

    Master Baiter, I initially thought about calling Walgreens. Since I know "fixing" this will be the best way to help this lady out, I called and left a message for them to call me back. They haven't called back.

    someone used my yahoo email to sign up for their turbotax thing. lol. I am not going to screw with that.
