    Simple poll.

Each drink is equivalent to a standard 12oz beer, 1oz shot, etc.

Edit: The estimate typically used is 1 drink = 0.02 BAC. Legal limit = .08.

Buzzed driving is drunk driving. So for me, 2 beers.

You lack patience. Threads are created before the poll can be made.

This is clearly dependent on the individual as gender, weight and other issues vary by individual. There is and has been a clear standard blood alcohol limit.

If you're asking me how many drinks it takes me personally to approximate that 0.8 limit? Certainly a drink with dinner and I am ok driving. Two drinks with dinner and I feel fine but know better. If the wife is with me let her drive. If not, judge based on how I feel. More than 2 drinks with dinner is a no go.

0.8 is the legal limit, but that doesn't necessarily mean safe.

I'm curious to what your personal limit is. Some people are zero tolerence, some will have a drink, but not risk getting close to .08, others will flirt with 0.8, and others still will just risk it.

Edit: I realize you answered my intended question with 2, but want to clarify for others.

I feel comfortable driving with up to 3 drinks. If I have more than that I will just wait it out, get some food, walk around, etc

Different for everyone. 1 beer isn't .02 for everyone

Usually if I know I'm over the limit I won't drive. However if I'm feeling bold 4 beers would make me uneasy to operate a motor vehicle.

and not all beers are the same, either. I think the standard calculation is based on a 4.2% alcohol content beer...maybe even less -- probably whatever Miller is.

I think i can drink 2 and still feel comfortable. Never been any dangerous driving situations after having more than 1 before, so it's hard to really know.

If I am driving I usually only drink one drink. I really don't like risking at all even though I am sure I can drink two more and be okay. Better safe than sorry I suppose is my mentality.

    None.

If you really can't go without drink when you're driving then you need to go see a doctor for your addiction.
