I don't think he's saying she has to accept it. Just that, by exercising some caution and personal responsibility, one can take steps to prevent oneself from being in a more dangerous situation. Is she to blame for this happening? Absolutely not. Could she have taken steps to prevent this happening? Quite possibly so. To me, the more important thing is killing the cuture of hero-worship for this high school football team that allowed an entire city to cover up for these a$$hol@s.
Peter, you are fighting a losing battle against emotions. No amount of facts or rational thought will win this battle for you. Not saying you're right or wrong (and I cringed when reading your post here), but it is just the way it is around here.
The party was set-up by one of the assistant coaches or so they said? We're not talking about a party in a third world country, this is in America, Ohio of all places. How dangerous and life threatening can a party be if created by people and staff you know and went to school with? We are not talking about some random college party that this girl went to, this is a high school party, in a comfortable environment, I mean WTF??? How would she know it was going to be this bad and ruined her life? She probably got manipulated/set-up got her drink spiked, who knows??? This story is still unfolding.. Have some damn respect, you folks talking about this like it's teen pregnancy or something, this is rape to the highest degree... High School parties ain't what it used to be, my goodness/ WTF???

Awww, why not? You like to question the actions of a woman who was gang raped, but the second someone brings up your past, they get a **** you. I think it's a legitimate post. Anyone doing anything to even remotely criticize this woman for being gang raped is a sick **** who probably did have some issues in their upbringing. Simple as that.
It matters to how irresponsible she was that night. Being drugged makes it even worse for the guys, since it would be 100% premeditated. Of course the rape occuring in 2 separate places also makes that a bit meaningless.
2 teenage girls got arrested for harassing the rape victim. She's going through a lot, I think it's time to stop discussing her drinking.
