One or two zombies sneaking up behind you or around a corner? Okay, sure. Multiple zombies appearing in front of you? Umm....yeah, not buying it.

This. I would stay far away from this thread if I haven't seen the episode yet.

whoa! Like you said that's not surprise. The season is just about over and you can't have him going thru another full season of everyone trying to keep him under control, would be too much.

That deserves to be spoilered.

Not sure. There are other screen cap spoilers leaked that give some hints, but I don't know exactly what's going on. What seems likely is that the prison group devises a plan for Merle to bind Michonne and do a fake out on the Governor. They want him to think he's handing her over, but then kill him. But, the Governor is wise and kills Merle.

That's just speculation based on the Merle photo above, and on another photo of Merle walking with a bound Michonne, and The Governor choking Merle out.

No spoilers unless its for events that haven't happened yet. If people spoiler tag the newest episode then its going to lead to confusion about what the spoiler is for. Nobody's reading this thread if they aren't caught up yet.

They've been advertising the soundtrack for the show so I guess they had to throw in some cornball tracks.

Maybe I'm in the minority (on here) but I've felt that the show really hasn't missed a beat all season. For the most part it's maintained the high level that it started with back in the season opener. Sure there's been talkative moments, but I think they've done a good job of keeping the tension high and the audience engaged. Last two episodes are perfect examples of that. Rick, after seemingly hit bottom a few episodes back and pulling out of it, is now having to deal whether or not he should give up Michonne, under the small .0001% of a chance the Governor is telling the truth. He's carrying far too big of a burden and I like how he confided with Hershel about it. And the last episode may have been centered on Andrea, but I think it worked really well, and I found myself rooting for her.

Sure it's not without faults...zombies appearing out of nowhere, Andrea taking an open road to the prison instead of a more roundabout way, the Governor having a keen sense of her whereabouts, Tyreese and jerky father fighting, Andrea not taking the truck nor disabling it, Rick not shooting the Governor when he had the chance. But none of those things affected the overall quality for me.

And count me as one who likes the songs closing the show...they've really helped to cap the emotional turmoil in each episode.

The Gov grabbing Andrea was completely predictable. They're not going to kill him off like that, so he was obviously alive. She's walking up to the prison and they basically shoot the scene as if waiting for someone to jump in and grab her.

The way the episode was going, it was also likely she would end up in that chair.

I get they need to set up the finale, but might as well be straightforward with it, let the Gov catch her and don't show where he left her. I think it's kind of insulting to viewers to expect them to be fooled by lame detours like that.

I was actually thinking, ok, hoping that Rick would have squeezed off a head shot as Andrea approached the opening in front of the prison. Would have seemed right, as she was pretty grimy from being in the woods, fighting with the Gov and with zombies. Would have been a dramatic conclusion to the episode, sorta paying homage to Night of the Living Dead.

And... made a lot of WD viewers happy...

And would have been poetic justice for her shooting Daryl in season 2 in the same manner

*****! Can't wait for Sunday now

I agree with JunkyardDwg. Show has been good and steady for the most part this season. Miles better than season 2 (except the last few episodes with the captured prisoner/shane's turning)
