so you think that these guys can score consistantly? and that they can be a force on defense in the paint?

 

Tough games from our power forward duo but don't get to down on them they will get better. We are young and nights like this will happen but the potential is there man. Gotta keep cheering this team on.

 

Destroy the j*zz Wednesday and today is forgotten. simple as that.

True to a degree, but this was a self-blowout. Team shooting 32% (2s) and 25% (3s) is the true culprit in this game. It was not like GS had locked tight defense....it was uncontested bricks all night. We know Curry was going to have his points, and Lee's points moved over to Klay, in a sense. Other players just making a few shots here and there would have made the game a bit closer or even a win. I don't blame this lost on McHail, Harden, or Lin.

i understand what clutch was trying to say. but if i were mchale, i would win or lose with my starters. it's my decision on who starts. i will take blames when losing.

 

Jonathan Feigen got a tad bit upset with me when I responded to his tweet about Parson's shooting lol.

I know he's trying to do the whole silver lining/tow the company line thing but Parson's did suck tonight and this team has to do better in order to have any hope for a post season.

 

This has been proved true and yet it always regresses back after one or two wins. Every time Harden did more play making with leading ASTs I had the bad feeling that the Rockets were going to lose the game. The coaches just don't want to criticize Harden.

 

To be fair though, the Rockets players should *** themselves.

He said something along the lines of " Do you even read my material? My job isn't to provide a positive spin. I saw him shooting after practice and I thought it was telling. I will tell that and more"

I tried to respond and it was "forbidden". I probably got banned.....but whatever the truth is the truth. Dude stunk it up tonight.

 

yep..I mean he was really good before last a few games. like 6? 7? consecutive over 20points games. regression to the means i guess.

 

GS was running multiple screens for Curry and Thomson every possession. It's impossible to fight through 2 or more screens in a roll. I don't blame Lin and Harden on those. Help D simply wasn't there at all. However Harden was lazy on some of Thomson's shots off transition. McHale needs to address that. On the other hand why the hell don't we run picks for Harden and Lin? Instead we ISO without creating any opportunity until the shot clock expired especially when we were down 15 in the 4th qtr. That's some nice coaching McHale.

 

they all need to go get drunk today for st. pattys day and forget about this game. yikes.

 

See that see that you and I are on the same page I promise I was thinking exactly like you. That's what I hate most about McHale's coaching or lack there of... He doesn't coach consistently in his approach. He is the perfect representation of what we see of the rockets right now. You don't know what team you will see just like we don't know what way McHale will coach or choose to go. I wish he would just be a coach and COACH!!! Develop a strength and ride that strength as a coach... Don't know what he's doing.

I have no idea because frankly they're never in the post. D-Mo tries to get it going early and he hasn't looked too bad, but then he's relegated to spotting up in the corner, as if they're telling him "it doesn't matter what you do and even if it's working, get your azz back out to the corner, you're taking up Lin & Harden's space"

T-Rob has shown that he's quicker than his opposition, but he's also doing this out of the offense and there's a crowd waiting for him.

I think Lin can run P&R with these two, but it won't happen when he's playing with Harden. That's why I want to see their minutes staggered again, so Lin can be stop deferring to him and run the 2nd unit.
