There will always be those nights where your shots don't fall no matter how hard you try to get hot. If offense fails, defense will win you the game in the end. Sorry if I'm starting to sound like a broken record on here. It's just frustrating to watch a problem that's been persistently there for months now.

All hell broke lose after a loss. Look, GSW is a damn good team, it's a ball game. You win some you lose some. Now move on to the next game.

Umm... because Harden & Lin were the only Rockets who showed up tonight?

d-mo had a couple of good moves in 3rd. i don't know why he couldn't be on the court in 4th. sometimes, i think mchale doesn't have a lot of confidence on any player but harden. d-mo is his choice to start the game. why can't he finish the game when GS had bogat and david lee on the court at same time in 4th?

To Lin's defense, that Curry guy is like a squirrel; he runs so fast and uses screens to hide and get open, trying to keep up with him would tire anyone.

Can't really criticize Lin when he was the only Rocket who showed up on both ends of the floor tonight.

The game started at 6 p.m. but someone forgot to tell the Rockets. Listless, lack of effort...beaten for 50/50 loose balls. a step slow all night plus couldn't throw it in the ocean.

As I remember, quite a few no names had their career highs on Rockets recently.

Harden, jekyll and hyde tonight. I just think Harden would be much more effective if he was more of a traditional shooting guard role then having to share point guard duties with Lin. Jeremy dumping the ball off to Harden on the offensive end seems more effective then Harden playmaking and trying to create.

8/35 by Parsons, Delfino, and DMo (just included players with > 10 shots)....this is why the game was lost. D or no D by Hardin is not the point. Only Lin, and to a lessor degree, Harden was efficient in scoring tonight. Simple stats dictated that this game was going to be a L from the beginning.

This is what Calvin Murphy said and I agree. Our offensive game strategy is a hot mess.

Are some people actually trying to pin this loss on James and Jeremy?

Way to go guys, show the world your basketball knowledge [IMG]

It's like people are so used to our Charmin soft bigs setting the most worthless ineffective screens that they've forgotten how effective a solid one is and looks like.
Team needs to learn how to help our guards when they get caught in solid screens like today.

Because they are not the leaders of this team?

Harden, Lin, McHale should be scrutinized every time we have a bad game, because their play/coaching have the biggest effect on the outcome of the game.

If the role player's shots don't fall, what can you do?
