So Curry getting wide open for a ton of 3s was fine, because its expected that he'll get his? Ok.

 

It reminds me of those Walker/Pierce Celtics of the early 2000s. They were good when the 3's were falling, but they could be beaten when they weren't.

You defend the three, you will probably win. That's why they never got over the hump. I fear that same fate for this Rocket team. They need a post presence or a better defense.

 

Umm so why is no one mentioning the terrible games Parsons and D-Mo put up?

Dude lost him a few times, **** happens. Klay was being run off screens because that's the kind of player he is. The Rockets don't have TEAM defense to defend basic stuff like PnRs and Screens and both Curry and Thompson lit it up.

I hate this putting the defense on one person. Defense is played by a team and a defender can't shine if the team defense sucks because guys get beat and guys make mistakes...and the rules favor the offensive player any ways.

 

well they need to call plays.....and they dont....move....the play they are calling is iso with harden....thats on Mchale....hes calling it

One person you can't really blame this game on is McHail, at least not in this game. When your team is shooting this poorly, I don't know how you can coach out of it. I mean he even tried playing with the bench and they did as bad. I think the game should have revolved more around Lin (meaning he should have been shooting more) in the first half when all the starters, including Harden, were bricking.

The refs were calling the game like the 7th game in a playoff series. We lost because we can't make shots and the refs were not calling fouls. We have to be able to win games like these. The next Utah game is not going to be easy either.

 

It's all Lin Lin Lin Lin Lin. LOFs vs LOHs. Same **** after every loss

 

i dont hear anyone blaming lin? And Lin wasnt perfect but he was way better than everyone else

 

They don't run plays.

They do not run plays. It's not on Harden or any one else when the only play in the book is to call someone up to set a pick.

 

Then explain how he caught Harden 15ft away waiting for rebounds over and over in 3rd. Did you even watch the game?

Bench didn't do a damn thing, spark-less.

Defensively, James and Jeremy kept getting stuck like glue on the Warriors' solid (and moving) screens which would then leave Curry and Klay WIDE open. Why was there no adjustment to that? It happened all game long. Our guards can only do so much, they can't walk through screens, something had to be done. Jeebuz.

Anyways, thanks to James and Jeremy for being the only ones to show up offensively and appear to at least give a slight damn.

Frankly I aint even that mad cuz I don't want the Rockets to get the 6th seed. Clippers would straight up humiliate us in the playoffs.

 

Everyone played bad defense today, and Curry and Klay were hot, so I won't pick out Harden's effort on defense tonight. But Harden's Calderon-esque dribble-out-the-shot-clock-and-pass-it-off-with-0.5-on-the-clock assist-whoring makes me want to shoot myself in the ****ing head.

 

Parsons will have his games. If we get any production from the 4 spot it will help!

 

I don't know what is going on those two. we could've used Dmo's post up more tonite.
