Is this the first time Lin has had 3 good games in a row?

If he played D like Harden he'd have stamina to spare.

whatever excuse you want to call it.

It's not like Klay wasn't running off of screens or anything, nope.

Maybe his stamina isn't very good, but maybe his playing style consumes more energy and maybe he has to help others on the defensive end.

I think defense costs more energy because it's all reaction.

    what do you expect when
    dmo and parsons go 4/24
got curry running off screens, klay killing the runs
    delfino playing the 5
just couldnt hit a shot in the first, and that set the tone for the rest of the gm

I'm starting to think that "Lin as sixth man" idea actually is worth a shot. Right now he can be extremely effective as the primary ball-handler, but looks like he doesn't have the conditioning to take that role for the entire game, so we have him standing around half the time as Harden dribbles out the clock and passes it to Delfino for a brick or shot-clock violation. With a sixth-man role, Lin can expend more energy and be more effective. When/if he has better conditioning/stamina next year, we can move him back to the starting lineup and let him be the primary ballhandler.

trust your teammates. it is only way to win games. he can't force the issue when 3 or 4 guys on him. he needs to find a way to pass the ball to an open man.

Wow, good to see that the Rockets are a class organization. Why are we stooping to the Warrior's level? They brought it on themselves.

Lin is the only Rocket who played well tonight. Harden's defense and "playmaking" were killers and nobody else could shoot.

Traded 4 people from a 9 man rotation. Paid a million dollars and a draft pick and downgraded at guard, paying much bigger contracts to Garcia and Robinson and eating the contract of the other player we got because Patterson was playing well enough he would probably cost $4 M next year. Replaced our 4 rotation players with two players from the end of the bench of the worst team in the conference. Yeah, somehow we came out of it with a poor bench. How did that happen?

Houston shot like crap in the first half outside of Lin, Asik, Smith and Harden.

If the team shoots it's normal percentage, Houston either wins or it's down to the wire.

Open 3's, open jump shots, lay ups at point blank range... literally nothing was going in.

Yes, there were defensive lapses on the part of Houston, but it probably wouldn't have been enough to salvage this game given how most of the team shot.

Lin and Harden tried to put the team on their backs, but they can only do so much especially since the refs decided to completely swallow their whistles this entire game.

Bad loss, but not much you can do when people can't hit an open shot or lay up.
