Don't want them to do it but I can't say it will mean much other then the media jizzing on themselves the Heat because they are the Heat with Lebron. The Rockets streak will remain but but even if it is passed I can't see them getting to the number one streak. Props to Battier though, even though his defense isn't what it once was, no doubt he is still a big influence on that Heat Locker roo..

Kid ourselves about what ? Why can't people just enjoy that streak, or want it to hold up? I doubt many of us will see another Rockets team win 22 straight or more. It was probably one of the most fun moments since the Clutch City era. The fans loved it. The fact that we weren't even suppose to win that much and weren't even in the playoff hunt makes it more special. If you love the game of basketball, how can you not enjoy that? What is so wrong about caring about our streak being broken?

Bingo. It's same reason why everyone was excited about Kobe's 81 point game, even though it was 19 points less than Wilt's record. We had the longest win streak in 36 years and it was matched less than five years later. One guy was on both teams. Longevity counts for something.
