The best thing SAS has ever said about Lin is that he is an slightly above average player

can someone tell me whether kevin durant is still with okc and whether tim duncan and manu ginobili has been retired or not?

i can't see any logic to claim what lin has been doing has to do with harden. well, tony parker and russell westbrook are one man show on their teams.

if sas were on a court, his statement would have been smashed by an average lawyer.

Haha. Skip saying Tebow's ability above Linsanity's. That's a good one.

    FG% 2012-2013 season

    JR Smith .405
    Felton .411
    Melo .436

    Lin .440

And Lin puts in the effort on defense.

Oh, and "pure pg" Felton's APG -- 5.7

Lin, while sharing the ball with Harden -- 6.1

There's a reason the Knicks franchise was mired in mediocrity for so long

    Alexander + Morey >>>>> Dolan + Grunwald

Many Knicks fans listen to this jerk.
That's one of reasons why they are the most delusional fan base.

I agree. While Jeremy does make boneheaded mistakes on D from time to time, so do the majority of this rediculously young team. Over all, I consider him a plus defender, and I think he's getting better and will end up being above average for his position, maybe better than above average (and plays much better than average on D from time to time, showing his potential at that end), and sooner rather than later. He has the quickness, lateral movement, quick hands, and height to bother a lot of perimeter players. Sure, some 1's and 2's are going to be a problem for him, especially the small, quick point guards, but that's why we have Beverley. Jeremy is a nice size to have as a point, and I like that. I think he's worth his contract. I just wish he'd learn how to fall on the court. That's one area where I agree with Clyde. Lin's going to shorten his career if he keeps falling like a sack of potatoes off the end of a pickup. That and consistency in all areas of his game. That should come with experience.

Smith? He's a clown. I thought everyone knew that. All he lacks is the face paint and the rubber nose.

You should not post the data, keep knicks
fan away from the truth. That is better to Rockets.

Give SAS some credit though.....at least so far he's right on the money about Tebow and Lin. Bayless probably feels like an a** now. The guy makes sense here and there but I treat him as a pure entertainer than anything else. This is how he makes his living....making stupid noise.

I must not be seeing things right, from what i see Jeremy Lin is a very good defender. One of the best on the team. But everyone here and in the media says he has horrible D. I just dont get it.

He said LIN is an average and marginal player, and then switch to slightly above average player.

    What a jerk !

Not surprised. People simply like energetic movement in defense,
it makes you look like you are a good defender. Lin's defense
is basically body to body contact, or close eye to eye and
movement following, it makes you feel like oh Lin was again
passed through, was again lose trace, but those movement
usually result in bad shoot or force the oppoent player to pass
the ball which have high chance result in turn over.

So if you look at the statistic data, you will find out how efficiency
    Jeremy in defense is.

The problem is a lot of these people don't actually watch the whole game. They just look at the stat lines and compare his to the other PGs' stats. Or worse keep hearing and just accepts that it must be true without watching him the game These people will see that Parker has 30 points but failed to realize that Lin only guarded him for 10 of those points, etc. as an example. It's very hard for PG to guard each other one to one, that's why team defense is critical. Curry can probably zip by Lin at will and same for Lin. I've watched Lin played every game and there's been zero game that the opposing guard was just killing him. He's kept his guard and did solid defense against the best guards in the NBA....stole the ball from Westbrook and Rose...even blocked Rose.

Curry said he is fan of Stephen A's show on ESPN.

Maybe he believed the craps that Lin can't D and go left, so they lost 3 games against Rockets.
