Lin is the vocal leader. Harden, on the other hand, leads by example. Don't know why this is such a big deal though. Obviously, they all love playing with one another so why start some drama on who's the boss in the team?
Harden is the leader by default. That said, Lin and anybody are also leaders by their own right. What's important is the collective effort by everybody to win.

Exactly, I am not sure about the intention of the OP but like you said, we have multiple leaders instead of one. Harden is our leader in offense. Lin is our leader in jamming opposition offense and also secondary leader in offense. Parsons is leading the camaraderie. Delfino is the occasional veteran presence giving the ball to the right person.
A Harvard education that emphasizes developing future leaders for the country and Pat Reily's view on leadership in basketball convince me that currently Lin is more ready to be a leader of the team. Harden still has a lot to learn about leadership and is developing his leadership skills. However above all thinking, I am more in favor of letting the players develop and choose their team leader(s) among themselves. And I don't believe anything we say here outside of the locker room will effect that process.
ship harden we don't need any more lofs! outsiders that know bball and those who have played it will tell you that the rockets flow better when lin has his pg duties. If others take that role for the night, the offense will stall. If lin is sucking that night with his pg duties, the offense will stall. So the statement always holds true, as lin goes so does the entire team. It's what the Murph was talking about after the blow game vs phx. Good to see that we have a leader at every position. =)
This is the key!!! Individual leadership in the team context is what makes each player better and the team better.
