Heard about it from Sloan, but not Popovich. Maybe I'm just too ignorant when it comes to Spurs because I find them to be really boring, even in their championship years.

Care to give me some examples and such so I, too, can join you in the hate (although I already do)?

For once I am with heypartner. Never agreed nor liked your posts in the past but this I can attest.

Bruce Bowen is trash and the Spurs can s*ck d*ck.

Isn't this thread enough proof. It's not just the player it is the coach who allows it.

Look at it this way...JVG is the best defensive coach ever created. And he spawned Tom Thibodeau.

JVG never allowed this ****. Neither would I. Rudy and Hakeem never did either.

We aren't talking about flopping....we are talking crap tactics.

Do you think Hakeem ever would have cheated on defense?

Popovich and Sloan are the worst coaches in the history of the game, because of what they teach and/or allow

    "lmao heyp"

    Cute

what does the immaculate ethics of a Navy officer have to do with this?

I never had anything against the "Admiral" or "Mr Fundamental"

just their stupid fans and the Coach.

And even then I can hate the Spurs because of their extremely stupid fans who thought your man Robinson was better than Hakeem. And because their fans voted Duncan the #4 most important player in the Franchise back in 2006.

Fact is: San Antonio fans would have traded the Spurs for an NFL franchise at any moment during the "Dynasty". I have proof. So all of San Antonio knows I am right...and y'all can go F!ck yourself for not appreciating basketball like Houston does.

Popovich was very underhanded in how he got rid of Bob Hill. I was about to write a resume for him last year (talked to a contact of his, he never followed up), and from this friend of his, Hill's still bitter about how he was blamed for the losing w/o having Robinson and Elliott.

the vote was for a current year...I think it was 06 or 07. The poll was only people currently employed in the franchise.

    Robinson was not a choice.

    Duncan was 4th

    #1 was RC Buford
    #2 Popovich
    #3 Ginobody
    #4 Duncan

I was so outraged that I made of post of it. But I'm not sure if I made a screen shot. I think I only posted a link to the poll
Can you imagine placing Hakeem any less than #1 in the 90s for "most important person in the franchise?"

I'll admit, I have tried this at times after watching Bowen. I never actually injured anybody but it does get into the opponents head. Also wrapping the arms, pulling jersey, etc. I don't think I was ever called for it, though.

Here's the whole segment. Funny how he tries to cover up sliding under players by saying that he was learned after contesting a shot you have to box out. The guy hasn't even landed and you're boxing out??? That's some bull**** and everybody there knows it. For all the loudmouthing that stupid glass wearing dildo does, he doesn't even once attack Bruce like Skip does. Respect for Skip!

How in the world does Bruce Bowen have a job on ESPN anyway, that channel is just the worst of the worst..Also with regards to the Spurs, I lost all my respect for that organisation when they retired this guy's number. He tried to hurt guys over and over, that's a lowlife human being. I rather hang out with a drugdealer or a thief than a guy who tries to injure people.

Disagree with you on this, but the rest is agreeable.

Can't we just all collectively wish (violent) ill upon Bruce? Maybe then our wishes will have to come true, upon which the majority of fans and players shall rejoice. Joy the the world. All the boys and girls. Joy to the fishies in the deep blue see. Joy to you and me.
