Why do the members of clutchfans overvalue the players of this team?

How many Asik and Parson are there? Parson is ona great contract and so is Asik for his contribution

 

i disagree. if parson continue playing like he is, he is a legit allstar. if tyson chandler got into allstar, why cant asik? asik is 26 and will only get better, assuming he doesnt start injuring himself like Love. Asik improved so much since the days with bulls.

 

Parsons value is beyond his talent, it's his contract value. He's allowing this team so much flexibility salary wise without having to shed overall talent.

As for Asik, I'm hesitant in letting him go after struggling years to find a true center (after Yao). He has been stellar so and has been complementing Lin and Harden quite well.

I'm not discrediting the superstar stud that Kevin Love is, but I think there could be a better alternative to build around this team.

 

Last game was broadcasted on NBATV, and the commentators said Harden needs to play like this for a couple years to establish the true star status.

Asik is good, but he's a one way player who can't stay in the 4th quarter numerous times. Parsons will get paid in a couple of years when we seriously try to contend.

 

Not all commentators watch Houston. Harden can do what Love can except rebound, and even then his rebounding is nice. Right now he is 5th in scoring. A couple of years he can be 2 maybe even 1, be then he will be the star of the league not just Houston.
Asik is your anchor though, if you talking about a couple of years, then we can get Love off of FA in a couple of years, and no need to trade parsons for him

Would trade both Parsons and Asik. They are good players but replaceable. A superstar talent like Love is not.

I voted D, but it's not true. I'd trade any and all except for Asik, Parsons and Harden. Thing people don't seem to realize is, Love plays NO defense, and is slow, so he gets beat alot. Need a dominant defensive Center next to him, and a Wing stopper on the other side. While I think KLove would be great, no way would I get rid of a double doubler AND a really, really good SF who is improving rapidly.

Yes. With Love, it's like a girl bought a pairs of new shoes. Then she needs to buy a new dress to match that. Then she needs new purse or bags and new hair style and on and on.

The total cost and opportunity cost may be just too high to get Love, especially through a trade.
