JK, Harden.
lin parsons harden seem to all be the leaders. lin-harden backcourt is legit. our center is legit since rarely do true big come around. we should be looking for the next great forward. if you can keep parsons next to say... cousins, josh smith, blake griffin - contender. or maybe royce white will become the point forward of the future.
I don't know why you guys look at those quotes so definitively. Lin has said Harden is the leader. Lin has said McHale is the leader. Beverly has said Harden and Lin are leaders. Smith has said Harden is the leader. Durant has said Fisher is an unbelievable leader. Blake said Fisher was a leader on the Lakers. At the end of the day, Harden, Lin, and Parsons are the leaders of this team. If you are choosing one, you choose Harden.
Whether Harden is playing team ball or iso-ball, I always trust that he's sincere in trying to do what he thinks is best for the team. He's level headed and doesn't seem like the type to let ego get in the way of rationality. I love that we have that quality in our superstar. That's how I view leadership. More important than the question of who is leader is that we have players that are leading by example. We're fortunate to have an abundance of good character guys on our team.
Problem with the poll is people get all worked up because it asks who is THE leader when the rockets prob have a few. But there is no question in my mind that 1a and b are in no particular order JL and harden. Harden by example, JL is more vocal and demonstrative. And you idiots who insist that a team's leader can only be its leading scorer just don't know anything about LIFE let alone basketball.
This speaks volumes about the character of Harden. Clearly this is a team of many leaders- Harden and Lin being 2 of them. Can you imagine Melo ever saying something like this ??
no, it's absolutely wrong. a leader should be smart. knows when to say and what to say. a leader is one whom everyone trusts and is willing to follow after.
I also believe Jlin, Harden and Parsons are the leaders are the leaders of this team. And Garcia.....as the cheerleader
If Lin was asked, he would probably say Harden. In case anyone hasn't noticed yet, part of the beauty of this team is that all these guys defer to each other.
^ This, and then they work their butt off on their individual skills. A nice group of quality young men. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>@<a href="https://twitter.com/djorator">djorator</a> got to bro</p>— James Harden (@JHarden13) <a href="https://twitter.com/JHarden13/status/313124840250949632">March 17, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Parsons, Harden, and Jlin are obviously the leaders of the team...its really impressive to see such young guys take control and lead this team. Asik isnt a leader vocally but I think he leads by example because the man works incredibly hard.
They're all really young, except Delfino who's a bench player, so I think they all just support each other.
